Bacharacher Hof

Perfect location in the middle of town with easy access to the train. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable.

Indoor pool was nice. Very large bathroom with a large tub. Looks like it had been recently renovated.

The room and hallway were in pretty bad shape--carpet was really grungy which was a turnoff (which is odd as the bathroom was large and new). Also, we were on the railway side--very noisey all night long! Restaurant has very short hours!

The Bacharacher has a great location near the center of town and close to the wharf for taking a cruise. The hostess was on top of everything and very attentive. The room was clean and up to date and did not reflect the age of the town.

We were on the train side and they run trains less than a few hundred feet away late into the night.

A very disappointing experience overall.

The hotel is located very close to the railway tracks, which made it difficult to sleep at night due to the noise. The room also had a musky smell.Additionally, the staff were unhelpful and difficult to deal with when there was an issue with the booking, showing little responsiveness or respect for their guests.

We had a beautiful view of the castle from our balcony! The hotel was very conveniently located, right by the KD cruise line, check-in and out was easy and friendly. Breakfast was FABULOUS. There was so much choice and it was delicious, kudos to the chef! And the dining room was very pleasant too.

Great location. Friendly owner and staff. Super breakfast. I have a handicap that makes stairs difficult. It has an elevator. A good value.

A nice room divided in two bedroom for us that was three persons

Room was ok, it was nice to have a table fan. Balcony was nice touch but nothing really to look at. Breakfast was pretty typical Germany fare.

Parking is always an issue but happy with the non-paying option the hotel provided with no extra charge.

Great location and the room was nice with a balcony. Had all the basic amenities. Enjoyed breakfast very much with a variety of food, coffee and tea options. The courtyard was peaceful. The location was in the center of the small town with easy access to key attractions.

If you’re located on upper floors be sure you’re comfortable with stairs and carrying luggage. I wish we had access to tea and coffee throughout the day or in our room. There was no iron or ironing board, but maybe available upon request.

Excellent two night stay. Good sized room with a very comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was exceptional and set up us well for the day ahead. We had a very easy check-in and throughout our stay, the staff were excellent.The hotel is very near an extremely busy train line that was in constant use by freight traffic. We were concerned that this might affect our sleep but in the event it was not a problem and we slept well.

We were warned at check-in that it took a time for the water to run hot in the shower and so it proved. But that was not really a problem and the fact that we warned in advance was to the credit of the hotel.

Excellent! Great assortment of excellent food. The host was very attentive to our needs.

I didn't like that there was not 24 hr registration desk open.
