    Pros +

    • Comfortable, clean, good breakfast and coffee drinks, beautiful views
    • Location, clean, attention to detail, food, service, breakfast fabulous, lovely atmosphere
    • Great place for hiking in the vinyards around the hotel. Very quiet and beautiful place in the grape filled hills above the Rhein. Great bed and comforter.

    Cons -

    • A few guests downstairs from our room were sitting outside till quiete late talking loudly, but after we said something the went inside and only the sound of crickets remained
    • food dinner was bad. my wife and I both got sick. did not go to restaurant afterwards. reservations were needed. they didn’t tell us. we only got a table due to last minute cancellationgetting into room after 8 was touch and go. we just made it before the lights went out. weirdest bathroom I ever stayed at. had a see through window????
    • Small rooms and not enough essentials ( shampoo, hangers, towels). Extremely strange that by check-out, the hotel refuses to give you a bill, saying that it would "send it by email", in other words, unless you insist to see your bill on the screen, you cannot verify, if all charges are correct until after the fact.

Nice rooms with very comfortable beds and soft pillows. Nice view of the vineyard from our room. We also really enjoyed the 3-course meal we booked with our room.

The hotel is located basically on the outskirts of a tiny town, therefore no traffic, fresh air, a lot of options for hiking. The rooms are very clean, at the same time very basic, don't expect any extras. Rooms are very small: we stayed at a "deluxe double"and could hardly move around.Breakfast is very good, selection - good, all is fresh. Lots of fruits, vegan food/drinks, all is quite generous. Dinner is also good, but definitely not "gourmet, as the hotel describes it.

Extremely strange that by check-out, the hotel refuses to give you a bill, saying that it would "send it by email", in other words, unless you insist to see your bill on the screen, you cannot verify, if all charges are correct until after the fact.

A stunning hotel. We arrived on a Sunday when the hotel is unstaffed but all instructions given to us were so helpful. We could avail ourselves of refreshments and facilities for laundry. we enjoyed a lovely evening sat out on the balcony. Next morning, when the staff were back the breakfast we enjoyed was first class.

Having a small balcony with a niece view and the flowery garden !

we enjoyed the property as they had a good breakfast and helpful staff. We enjoyed the shower as it avoids ‘those hard to get into those tubs’.

The room was uncomfortable as it was very warm. They gave us a fan, but even with the patio door slightly opened, it was just too warm and stuffy.

Very good location. The food was very good! Since we were delayed and weren’t able to do any wine tasting, the wine list allowed for us to sample several local wines during our dinner.

Beautiful location, the breakfasts and restaurant were very tasty. The area is perfect for exploring the middle Rhine valley! The facilities are also tastefully decorated and the self service drinks are a nice touch.

The staff was cordial but not especially friendly or always available.
