Best Western Plus Hotel Gergovie

We were (unexpectedly!) on our way to Le Shuttle after a shock Brittany ferry cancellation from Santander. This simply stunning little boutique hotel was a haven of warmth, comfort and style, right by the motorway. It exceeded our hopes on every level. Wonderful comfort, delightful staff, simply excellent dinner and wines. Blissful bed and shower. Our very low expectations of a Best Western product were utterly changed forever.

The breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing.

Cleanliness, Friendly, location, vista

After a long drive this was the perfect stop-over for us. A really great hotel that was clean comfortable and friendly staff. there was also a really good evening menu and breakfast too.

Great location just off the motorway but not too noisy. Also great views from our balcony. Bed was comfy and shower great. Dinner was good too and not expensive. Staff were helpful and friendly

Menu choices were disappointing compared to online and previous years.My wife had mould on the base of one of the pots on the gourmet dessert.

Great location, smelt lovely as you walked in. Receptionist very nice and welcoming. Ideal for a stop over after a very long drive from Spain. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Clean and well kept room. Thoroughly recommend a stay here

Nothing to dislike.

Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room very well presented with the additions removed from so many other hotels.. ie kettle .. fridge..coffee maker

Insufficient supplies in room. ie milk tea bags. Big bottles of water on corridors good idea but run out quickly trying to service so many rooms

Friendly staff, very accommodating, couldn't do enough for us. Perfect location, idillic yet close to the Autoroute.Dinner and breakfast was superb. Our room was excellent, plenty of space, beds so comfortable, bathroom beautiful, wonderful shower and bath. I can't fault this place it was really wonderful.

Nothing all facilities were excellent.

We have been many times but this time the reception staff on arrival was extremly non customer friendly and unpolite. We travel intensively and I have never been welcomed in such rude way in any hotel around the world. I requested to speak with a supervisor several times but was told is not possible.If you can stay somewhere else

Easy to find from the autoroute, but a real oasis after a long day’s travel. Kind and helpful staff.

We have stayed in this hotel previously and always enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent for a stop over on our way to the south of France.The hotel is run very efficiently with helpful staff. It is very clean and comfortable. Restaurant excellent, delicious breakfast!

Nothing, everything was great!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It’s very well located, just a short drive from the motorway exit, which made it extremely convenient for us. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with everything you could possibly need. Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated, and we were lucky to have a beautiful view of the mountains from our window – absolutely stunning.The service was excellent throughout our stay. The staff were warm, welcoming, and more than helpful – truly a pleasure to deal with. And the food? Absolutely delicious! From start to finish, our experience exceeded expectations. Highly recommended

Convenient location nearby the motorway but not too near. Pleasant outlook at the rear and comfortable room. Food good and fair price.

The first room we were allocated had an unpleasant smell and perhaps a heavy smoker was the previous guest. The very nice receptionist gave us an alternative room and this was good.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the area is nice and quiet and like country side. A nice place to stay if you want a stop or to explore the nearby towns.

Clean and beds were extremely comfortable

The restaurant food was not good and overpriced for how bad it was. Weird combinations of ingredients, trying to be gourmet and it was not!

A good location travelling down to the south

It’s a secure location leaving your car. You don’t have to bother unpacking it. With locked gates after 9:30 pm.

Friendly reception and all the staff who appeared to consist of young ladies, were quite excellent, being cheerful, helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable with nice shower and all facilities. Plenty of parking space. Generally a super hotel.
