Pros +
- My room was ready slightly before check-in which I appreciated. I was also unexpectedly upgraded to a better suite with a balcony. The valet services were great and the staff helped me to book my ski pass with a discount. They also provided guidance on how to get to the hotel from Zurich's train station. I will definitely consider staying at the Experimental Chalet in the future when visiting Verbier.

Help with the skiSki room top
An excellent experience from the moment I entered the hotel. A very French-style interior, with jazz playing on the little satellite radio in the room.(it was refreshing after staying in other hotel rooms that felt so generic)Great breakfast spread and very friendly hospitable staff. When in Verbier, here's where you should stay!
LocationFriendly staffsGood breakfast
Well kept lodge . Great customer service. Breakfast was the best in all the hotels I stayed in Switzerland
Slightly noisy being on the first level.
Staff can be super helpful. Breakfast eggs are really good.
Staff can be not helpful also. Bathroom was damp. Breakfast buffet is not amazing.
The hotel was located close to the main attractions and restaurants. The hotel had a complimentary spa access which provided access to a steam room, jacuzzi, dry sauna and cold plunge. The hotel also had a ski storage area for equipment. The lounge was an added benefit offering cocktails from 6pm to 11:30pm.
The only small inconvenience was the renovated shower in the room. It was new and beautiful but a bit small and water did not stay inside the shower.
The staff were amazing, they couldnt do enough for us! Tomas, Remi and Bastille made the stay - the shuttle service was excellent. It made a ski trip luxurious!
Beds are extremely comfortable. Rooms are stylish and clean. Staff are all beautiful. Good shuttle service.
Breakfast was slow with a limited selection, well below the standard of most resort hotels. Noise from nightclub below hotel. Distance from ski lift but this is ameliorated by an efficient shuttle service. Intermittent hot water. Showers are ridiculous and will flood room. Staff appeared to lack the expertise you would expect from a top Swiss hotel but they all seemed very pleasant. Ski and boot room an after thought. Bar closes earlier than advertised.
Staff were the best, spa, location, shuttle service, bar
Water took time to drain in sink and shower, steam room smelled of damp
Location, large rooms, and well stocked bfast . Also enjoyed a fabulous lymphatic massage
Breakfast and location
I'm a repeated customer, but this stay definitely was suboptimal. The loud music from the club Farm prevented any sleep until 4am. The reception staff suggested to put ear plugs! Not really what you expect from 700 CHF/per night stay... Rooms on the 1st floor on Saturdays are just awful due to noise. In addition - the driver was also very random / rude requiring to call him 5min before we need our luggage delivered and refusing to arrange it 25min in advance (LOL!). The place is fine, but leaves a lot to be desired...
Liked everything , excellent hotel, we normally stay up the road but will definitely be coming back , everything was good quality , good choice of breakfast, very nice massage /sauna, and excellent staff! The shuttle bus to the slopes is an excellent bonus up the hill toThe lift . I have been coming to Verbier for over 20 years and this will now become my 1st choice of hotels .
Nothing not to like
Nice food / breakfast, super friendly staff. The hotel shuttle works perfectly and is super handy. Rooms are nice and clean.
Noise levels from the Farm Club are high. I woke up every day at 2am from the base of the club music and the people outside the club making lots of noise. This is the main drawback of this hotel, otherwise it is actually very cozy. There are also very few closets in the room to store the clothes. I had to keep most of it in the luggage as there was no space in the closet.
At the heart of Verbier, exceptionally helpful & professional frontdesk, great hospitality, classy shuttle service, awesome bar & atmosphere, smiling and helpful staff, you feel home with an upscale service
Everything was above 4 * level, if you except more, you will need to choose a 5* hotel
for 4* hotel was Good ! :)
when checked out from Hotel I asked 1-2 hours longer keep the room, first sed NO full hotel, then sed 1 h is OK (NO $ info), but at the end I must pay for 1 extra hour ~80 eur :(
Breakfast was OK, good
I asked stay 1-2 hours longer in check out day, first sed NO due to hotel Full ! Then sed yes 1 hour possible and NOT sed that one hour extra cost money ! just take from VISA card ~ 80 eur/1h
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The two rooms that I occupied during my stay were cosy, clean with very nice quality of bed linen and towels. The rooms were not too spacious and did not have a small desk for a laptop. By luck, there were other cosy corners in the chalet to sit down and do some work. The highlight was the small, absolutely cute Spa!
The breakfast table and menu was very rich. However, for someone who stays more than 3 days, it becomes very repetitive. It would not hurt to add a little bit more fresh vegetables/salads and vary them ...
Lovely staff, perfect design and comfortable beds
