Holiday Inn Express Frankfurt Airport By IHG

Airport Shuttle only available until 22:40m, only at Terminal 1, free only from Airport to Hotel. I arrived at Frankfurt Airport at 22:25 Terminal 2, so I missed last trip from Terminal 1. Next day I also had to pay €10 for hotel to airport service.

The supervisor instructed a worker in the restaurant loud and long, was really annoying The couch in the room was broken and had huge stain, looked very bad

Cost of shuttle was not known until arrival. Concierge recommended taxi to airport. He told us it would be less expensive, and would take a credit card. Neither was true.

AC did not work at all. We got in very late, too late to do anything. So we just had a hot night. Also the flight got delayed so we couldn¿t use the free shuttle which stops running at 1045. Then we had to pay 10 euro pp to return to the airport.

For the price of $--- a quite primitiv hotel room. The shower was very small. The breakfast variety was quite limited.

It has a decent breakfast

The Wi-Fi is pathetic. The rooms that are marked for IHG members on 4th floor had its heating that was not working properly. The room in which I stayed 412 had no soap bottle only shampoo. When this was told to the reception still it was not attended to.

The shuttle does not go from airport/train station to hotel, but only in one direction. The shuttle that goes to the airport is 6¿/person. I should have paid more to stay closer, after 50¿ for transportation. Also, the air conditioning was no good.

The staff was great. The shower pressure was amazing.

Under construction. Rooms were way too tiny. Lots of dust in corners. Tabletops not cleanest. Bathroom way too small.

This hotel is close to the airport which was what I was looking for. The hotel staff gave clear directions to restaurants and there were places to hike and trails to walk in the morning! Overall it was a beautiful and convenient location.

We were unable to get a ride on the shuttle back to the airport, so we had to pay for a taxi. The staff did call a taxi for us, which was quite helpful.

The hotel was very clean.

I wished the airport shuttle was free.

I dont understand why the hotel shuttle can no longer take you to terminal 2 where american airlines departs. Next time will stay closer to the airport

breakfast was good—I appreciate the variety of yogurts, jams, cheeses, and breads. the room was really comfortable and clean. I really appreciate having a hair dryer and electric kettle in the room. The AC was effective since opening the windows was discouraged due to the possibility of insects. The staff was efficient, friendly, and took extra steps with me and other customers.

I took two shuttles, from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport. Unfortunately my first driver, although kind in manner, drove too fast for my comfort, especially on the curved exit ramps. I mentioned this at the front desk and the staff apologized and said they'd pass this on. My second driver was excellent, though it was raining steadily and the speed may have still been high for these conditions. In any case, no one needs additional stress on a flight day. Since this location is 13km from the airport and not convenient to public transit, providing a shuttle service that feels safe is really important.

The staff was amazing. They handled check ins, calls and the bar and restaurant with a smile.The room is exceptional, all you need is there.

The location is a bit far from the old town so with public transport it takes one hour and taxi 26 mins that costs 27-34 euros. The location to the airport is pretty good!
