Hotel Nikko Northland Obihiro

The staff were very welcoming and there was even a welcome drink of a selection of Tokachi wines. The location is very convenient for downtown, if a bit less so after the station closes. The underground parking is nice, and with elevator access straight to lodging floors very convenient. In inclement weather it would be even more appreciated!

No public bath is a bit disappointing, since most downtown hotels have access to the moor hot springs.

Location was really good, just beside the main train station. Service staff at the reception was friendly and welcoming.

The breakfast venue is a little small, might have to wait a while for breakfast during peak period.

AC is weak and Toilet has bad smell on lower floor.

The hotel is located right next to the train station. It had both garage as well as surface level parking available. The room was excellent, and the breakfast had lots of options, so I could sample various Japanese foods while at the same time also choose a few known items. There were pancakes which my kids enjoyed. We found a pleasant Italian restaurant nearby. Lots of food options and stores were within walking distance which made it very convenient. Overall, we had a great stay.

Very good hotel, nearby the station and just a few minutes away from restaurants and street food. Friendly staff. Rooms were clean and of a very comfortable size compared to other hotels. Parking available on site. Tokens for free sake tasting provided at arrival as a welcome drink.

Location is fantastic. Hotel is located next to the JR line and Buses and it’s a short walk to local restaurants. The room was spacious and super comfortable.

No onsen. Hot room. We turned off the heating and opened the window - even though it was minus 1 degree outside we still felt a little warm

A comfortable hotel next to the railway station, everything you need is there. Breakfast was definitely good! Maybe the breakfast restaurant is a bit too small, cause people had to wait in the lobby.

The property is next to the JR Obihiro station, and parking is available at ¥600 per night at the underground car park. The buffet breakfast was delicious, and one of the best in our Hokkaido road trip. We tasted Hokkaido soup curry, Obihiro butadon for the first time. The hotel staff were hospitable and welcoming. The property is a 30-minute drive to Kofuku eki; 90 minutes’ drive from the Mikuni Pass Observation Deck.

Super nice hotel, incredibly clean and professional. Definitely recommended if you're staying in Obihiro and the value was just ridiculous. GET THE BREAKFAST, it's probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever had.

Nothing - everything was excellent

Most efficient check in among all the hotels I have stayed this trip.Receptionist are very helpful and speak good clear English. Room is very spacious and it has a good size (and good basin height!) bathroom with very thoughtful little touch like sufficient hangers, racks and even towels with different color prints that makes it easy to distinguish whose towel belongs to each of us.It is also very convenient to Jr Station and near by restaurants.Breakfast time and check out time is also later which makes it easier for us to wake up later travelling on the road for many days.

It wasn't so clear re the location of the Carpark unless we drove to the front entrance where the sign indicates. But the receptionist was very helpful to guide us to relocate our car after check in.Carpark is small but at least there is one underground which is rather rare find in a busier hokkaido city. I would recommend future guests to drive to front entrance and ask for directions instead of trying to figure which close by open Carpark is related to the hotel ?
