Hotel Route Inn Kushiro Ekimae

The staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was fairly spacious. Having the spa was great. However the best part of the stay was the complementary breakfast! There was a good variety of food and it didn't repeat too much. They also had adorable merch!

The bed was kind of hard.

Just across the road from Kushiro Station, and a short walk from Washou Market.The buffet breakfast was a good spread of items.

Nothing, really. May be slightly further from most restaurants, but that is due to the proximity to the rail station.

Hearty breakfast close to JR and bus stations

Good pjyamas, helpful staff, great location.All amenities needed are provided, and the stay is comfortable.

Washer/Dryer was in the changing rooms, it was a little inconvenient as there was only one set in the ladies changing room.

The location is great, just across the street from the Kushiro JR station and the bus station. It is a walking distance to the river/seaside.

The public is good and room is quite big. Near to JR station.

The room is quite warm.

Absolutely unicorn among those at this level, breakfasts are so well prepared and aren’t same in the two days that I’ve stayed for. Air purifier equipped in the room, very quiet, useful for allergy group. In-building public bath, clean. Super regretted for not having booked this frenchies for all my planned cities. I will definitely prioritize this hotel series for my next trip. Thank you very much.

The public bath, the location, the room and bathroom were good and clean. The staff was very helpful.

All was fine - if I really wanted to be picky, the pillow was hard.

The restaurant is super nice, the food served is unexpectedly delicious. The location is perfect, very close to attractions and train stations.

Perfectly located hotel for heading (roughly) east, west and north. Breakfast with good variety, replenished frequently by staff, and I think some changes day to day.

Hotel does not claim to cater for English-speaking guests, so don't book expecting that. However, staff did okay with my limited interactions.

Comfortable room + bed. The public bath was really good for both male + female. Great water temperature and size. Breakfast had a lot of choice. Good location to explore the city.

The small double was very small! Quite expensive for a small room too compared to other hotels and towns.

I liked the proximity to the train station. The staff was very nice and tried to accommodate my lack of Japanese when asking questions. They had a lounge to sit with nice teas and coffees as well as waters. The included breakfast was nice. But since I'm not really into hotel breakfast likely underappreciated on my part.

The pubic hair I found under my robe provided for sleeping. I get it. People wear these things. I like to forget about it but this very long pubic hair reminded me very much, people are wearing these. That's why I bring my own things. As I said, normal in the context of whats provided. I just do not want to see it or have to remove it from my bed.

The hotel is in an excellent location - directly opposite the railway station. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are professional and helpful. The restaurant on-site which caters for lunch and evening meals serves an excellent menu selection at a very reasonable price. There is a coffee machine in the lobby of the hotel - which is a welcome bonus.

There was nothing I didn't like. An area that could be improved is the diversity of food on offer at the breakfast buffet. Choices for Western / European tastes were a little limited.

Disappointed.

This is the fourth time I stayed in the hotel. The reason I kept coming back is because they took good care of me. But not anymore.I was greeted by an unfriendly old female staff the moment I walked into the lobby. And yet I was met by another unhappy young female staff when I left my luggage at the front desk the next morning.

Good location, basically across the street from the JR station. Had a decent Japanese buffet breakfast included. Room was generally clean.

The bathroom was a little tight in its walls placement and the bed was rock hard.

Breakfast good. Restaurant staff delightful.

BED. This was just like sleeping on a piece of wood with a thin mattress protector on top. I have never slept on such an uncomfortable bed before.Basin tap in bathroom was also swung over to fill bath or redirected to use shower. Could not use sink if shower in use! Needs updating. Room small.

The location is pretty amazing, very close to the station. The breakfast offers a variety of food. The onsen was good too.
