    • Quiet, laid back, clean, comfortable, very well managed, nice food and wonderful location
    • Beautiful, clean property with well appointed rooms. It was a joy discovering the grounds and vineyards!I have to give plenty of praise to the staff! They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Even going as far as ensuring we had a balcony, then changing the room so I could have a different view from the balcony.Kevin was amazing! Also his colleague was very helpful and showed us the gym, even going through workouts for us (I didn’t catch his name).Overall, we will stay here again thanks to the amazing staff and beautiful property!
    • It was perfect. We had our dog with us. And he was treated like a VIP. The restaurant there is wonderful. Location perfect for visiting lots of places on both sides of the Rhine.

    Cons -

    • Fryed eggs and omelette needs to be cooked nicer. I believe restaurant has a good chef to manage this. Except that, breakfast was super!
    • The service was not what you would from a Relais Chateau hotel. Starting from the front desk on the evening of our arrival where we asked for help with our luggage but it didn’t seem like it was something they do. They have a nice terrace but the hotel clearly has a shortage of staff because we had to go back to our room to order from room service and then ask them to bring to the terrace as there were no waiters there to take the order! Breakfast in the Resturant was basic and the service was not great. We had dinner just once at Their Gourmet Resturant and honestly it was too expensive for what you got and the service which was not up to par.

The view from the restaurant on the wine yard and the Rhein was stunning: at breakfast and during dinner…

    Location and receptionist service

No pillow menu, only one bath robe and restaurant expensive

Nice 5 star hotel. Not the best but very good. Good restaurant and excellent breakfast with magnificent view and menu choices. The Burg restaurant was very good but pricey compared to eg Michelin standard level. Would go again

The scenery around the property like heaven, surrounded by the vineyard and mixture of historical building, we feel like we are the noble in the old days.

It would be better if the room is more spacious

Beautiful view and very nice style of rooms

No wellness or fitness, but makes sense as it’s rather small

    9EdytaPosted on: 6-5-2024

Lovely rooms and right in the middle of the vineyard

No tea of coffee facilities in the room

    Clean, comfortable, dog friendly.

Price for overnight for a dog is extremely expensive!

We didn't realize this is one of the Relais & Châteaux hotels before we arrive, and we're totally satisfied after arrival. Pretty nice holiday getaway hotel with good location, view, facility and friendly staff. There is a gift riesling in the room(yes of course, this is Geisenheim, riesling is the reason that brought us here), and it is a pretty tasty one.The hotel has a fine restaurant attached to it, but we didn't have a chance to try due to reservation issues.

    Nothing really.

Great breakfast and the restaurant had a wonderful view

The Buddha statues that did not have any connection with the place regarding culture, tradition history etc. When I think of Relais and Chateux I think of very well chosen details that have roots in the area

The facilities, rooms, service and team are excellent. The two restaurants on site are both top notch and while somewhat expensive, very high quality and fabulous food. German star chef Mueller has a great restaurant here.

Very nice location and property. A swimming pool on the grounds (indoor or outdoor) would be a nice addition to this hotel as a nice place to relax.

Beautiful location, great breakfast and satisfying meal at Burg Restaurant, when it was open.

Arrived on a Saturday at lunch time and was informed that no dining was available for lunch or dinner due to two weddings. Inexcusable to check into a Relais & Chateau property that offers no dining accommodations for their guests for two meals, lunch and dinner. If a property wants to be a wedding factory, be that and close to all but wedding parties and drop the pretense of being a luxury Relais & Chateau member. I had reserved a large suite and two additional rooms and when our party of 5 arrived after 12 hours of travel and asked about lunch, the reception just shrugged as if was to be expected that there would be no food service for paying guests on a Saturday. Did not offer room service or any alternative.

It was clean and comfortable and it has air conditioning in the rooms

It was difficult to get a dinner reservation even one month in advance

    Disappointing

The bed is wet and smelled like someone has peed on the mattress the day before!
