Artemide Hotel

We loved the private terrace that we had off of our room on the top floor of the hotel, which provided us a comfortable area for relaxing and a great view of the town and the sea. We also greatly appreciated the location close to the beach and downtown area of shops and restaurants. The breakfast was fantastic with many offerings and the staff was very friendly. The hotel was spotlessly clean.

Our only complaint is that the bed mattress was rather firm from an American point of view.

I loved that it had a good price / quality relation. Very clena and modern rooms for the offer in the area. Nice views from the terrace and good breakfast.

The worst thing is that is has a sewage odor problem in the rooms on the first floor. Is it not a problem from the hotel but from the city sewage. Nonetheless, the bathrooms in the rooms on the first floor (where we stayed) should be closed or at lest let the guest know before hand.The first day when we said about the odor from the shower shower drain they said they were cleaning it. Evidently at night there was not much odor but the next morning it was awful. We complaint again and this time when we arrive the drain was covered by a towel. It was better. It was not until the last day that we it was explained to us that It was a problem with the city's silos, which were not properly cleaned and in hot weather they stank like that. How clean the entire property was. Like eat off the floor clean. There is one lady we saw every day wiping everything down. I hope she is paid well. The place smelled heavenly, and the roof top patio was delightful especially at end of afternoon at sunset. Best breakfast of our entire two week stay. Super helpful staff! The vehicle shuttle service was impressive.

Room is a bit small. But everything else makes up for that. And really we didn’t spend much time in room. Get washroom and comfy bed.

The room was very comfortable and extremely clean. A/C worked very well, staff was super friendly and breakfast was very good! Located a 10 minute walk to the beach and close to all restaurants and bars. All in all would definitely recommend.

Walls are a bit thin

It was clean, breakfast was good, staff were helpful, and the whirlpool upstairs was amazing.

The walls in my room were too thin. I had a room on the first floor near the main entrance and elevator, and I kept hearing the front door and elevator open and close all night, which prevented me from sleeping. My family member who had a room further away didn’t experience the same issue. So I think it just depends where your room is located within the building. I asked for a different room at check in but they didn’t have any more rooms available.

Balcony was our favorite part of the room and having the floor to ourselves. Also appreciated the room size and cleanliness

Lovely little hotel, clean and modern. The room and staff were great. An easy walk to the beach.

Every one of the staff made us welcome from the very first moment, from receptionist, through table waiting, chef, and cleaning staff.The room was clean and had all we needed (the hotel receptionist even provided us with a brand new kettle when requested). Breakfast was delicious and plentiful in a pleasant and airy dining room.The rooftop offered great views of the town, and the jacuzzi offered a welcome relaxing alternative to the nearby beach.

We loved the friendly staff, breakfast and closeness to the beach! The jacuzzi on the roof top deck was a plus as well

The hotel was very clean and the room was a good size. The staff were very nice and helpful. It's also in a very good location close to the marina and city centre.

The breakfast was nice but you had to ask for milk for your cereal and there was no spoons. Our room was on a busy road for traffic which didn't bother us too much but if maybe ask for a room at the back of the hotel if you're a light sleeper.

- Don't book this hotel if you want to sleep well.Almost every night, between 2 and 4am, there's loud noise from the street and sometimes also from inside the hotel. Sounds like the garbage is being picked up during the night. It's very loud and if you have a light sleep, you'll wake up and stay awake.- In addition, the walls are super thin. You hear a lot of noises from adjacent rooms and when the other rooms are being cleaned or breakfast is being prepared.- There was no kettle in the room and it took the staff half a day to bring me the (apparently) only existing kettle of the hotel. - the gentleman at the reception was particularly rude and lacks any sense of service mentality.- in October, you can't have breakfast on the roof anymore, even if it's still warm and dry weather.- Of course we won't come back

Everyone was so friendly and gave advice around where to eat and visit. Easy transfers and central quiet location. Rooms were refreshed everyday including all towels and the fridge was handy.The roof top space was good. Breakfast was different every day and super fresh and lots of good coffee available.

I would have appreciated a kettle in the room.On the rooftop the tables and chairs were functional and in better weather as it was very windy when we visited used for breakfast I think. The rest of the time having some chill out furniture with relaxing chairs and settees might have been an idea or the cushions for the benches available .

Room doors look each other and the bed is located right in front of the door. When one leaves the room while the other is in the bed, it doesn’t feel comfortable. Bed and pillows are not the most comfortable I slept in. Breakfast buffet was placed in a small area. I could feel better if I saw some smile on staffs face during breakfast. The hotel could be decorated in a warmer style. At the moment it feels like it could be turned into a clinic in a second

The pool is the size of a postage stamp and location too far from the beach area. Hardest beds we have had over our month stay in Italy.
