Cons -
- Squeaking not comfortable bed
- The room was small and dark. The worst bed I ever had in an hotel. I couldn’t sleep all night. The breakfast food looks old and no AC in the common areas of the hotel or lobby. Will never stay again.

People peddling their goods when you are eating in restaurant.
great location with view of the beach. Short 5 minutes walk to the downtown and restaurant areas
You have to pay extra for the beach chairs. For the hotel rate it should be a free amenities for hotel guest
Location
No Elevators room was 3rd floor . Shower had mildew
We stayed at the Annex about 5 minutes away. It was hotel quality with daily cleaning. The room had a cute balcony area into the courtyard. The breakfast was fresh every morning and consisted of many different baked goods as well as eggs, cheeses, and meats.
Overall it was a good experience. I think higher quality sheets and a thicker mattress would have made my stay excellent.
The main building with lobby was nice . Breakfast was good. The restaurant was good. The location is good. The main building is in front of the beach.
The room I was assigned is 2 streets over from the main building and a street walk from the beach . Completely detached from the main building . No lobby , no reception. Just a random apartment complex made into hotel rooms. The room was dark and gloomy. The bunk beds were about 40 years old. Safe enough for maybe a small 4 year old . And what is the purpose of booking a “hotel” on the beach when you still need to rent separately umbrella and chairs? Not with the money. Better to get an Arbnb with way more space.
The location of the main building The included breakfast
-If you are not in the main building the rooms are crazy. Similar to jail cell. Dark small dingy-one of the off buildings is close to the beach two others are a bit of a walk off the main path. -non main buildings areTiny dark and not inviting to say the least. -front desk is not great at resolving issues. My shower did not drain the entireTime I was there.
We loved our stay at Hotel Egitarso. We stayed at the Annex which is few more meters away than the regular hotel but it’s not far and easy to walk. The beach is so close and beautiful, there was nearby restaurants, and shops too ! We rented loungers and an umbrella which was a bit unusual for us (since they don’t do that at the beaches in USA) but it was definitely an experience. We ate at the hotel for dinner and it was delicious. The free breakfast was great and lots of variety for all ! The air conditioning worked great, and was welcomed after many hot days in the sun ! Cleaners did a wonderful job cleaning the rooms each day .
The bunk bed was a little dated and the bedspreads could be more comfortable (looked like a curtain) . Maybe a discount after a certain hour for the loungers - like after 15:00 ?
Very close to the beachGood breakfast
The rooms for 4 people not big enough, very cramped. Walking from the main building to annex was painful with all of our suitcases. No trolly or assistance at check out. Really bad mini fridge in room. At best Luke warm water.
Loved the location, excellent breakfast and dinners. Staff was great!
Only issue is a language barrier at times. We didn’t want our room cleaned and didn’t realize that meant we couldn’t get towels. Our towels were wet so we tried going to the front desk to ask for more only for them to tell us it’s 3 euros. Finally figured out that we just needed to give them the old ones to get new ones, which was fine, it all worked out.
The room was nice and clean and the cleaning staff were really lovely , they were on time everyday and always cleaned our room perfectly
I asked when I book to stay in the main building g as my husbands has very bad knees and can’t walk far , they took us to smother building which was far from the main building, when I asked to move to the main building they said they had no space , the reception staff were not that friendly and made me feel like a burden , the restaurant staff were equally rude , I would not recommend this hotel at all
The buffet breakfast was very good. There was an excellent selection of things to choose from. Plenty of fresh fruit! There was a water tank to refill our water bottles, too. The staff were all helpful and polite. Free water in our fridge was lovely. The shampoo/body wash was nice and didn’t upset my skin.Parking was below the room. However, there was a hefty charge for it.
The annex was further away from the main hotel than we were led to believe. We had a bit of walk for our breakfast. Also, hotel residents were charged if they wanted to use the hotel sun beds on the beach.
the hotel is located at the beach, what was very good.
the hotel is located at the beach, what was very good. I would say that the hotel was build in 1970 or 1980 and the rooms are still in this style, very old and with no style at all. They should renovate and modernize everything, it's really old and 3 stars is a to high rating. Breakfast was good, very good.
perfect location
very nice clean room
Bedroom was super clean and bed firm and comfy. Wonderful shower and clean towels replaced every day! Loved the bidet! Loved the huge assortment of croissants.
Would have like fresh fruit for breakfast.
The location was fantastic. The rooms were cleans and the AC worked really well. The private beach was nice, however you do have to pay extra to rent the beach beds, even though they belong to the hotel.
We had one room overlooking the sea. The other was in their additional building, about 5-10mins walk away. We knew this advance, but in hindsight, paying the extra and getting two rooms in the main building would have been more convenient.
The only good thing about the property was the location.
The staff was rude and the only thing they knew how to say was, “No”, and to ask for more money. They wanted to charge us €15 to wait 30 minutes past checkout to retrieve the car from the garage. Also, if you like a lot of houseflies landing on top of the croissants in the breakfast area, be my guest.
The property has a main building with rooms, breakfast room, cafe and restaurant. Then there’s the annex where they have other rooms. It’s a bit dated but location is amazing. Literally takes 20 steps from the hotel or the annex to the beach. Very close to the streets where restaurants are in. Paollo, the receptionist in the annex was super friendly. Folks working in the cafe and restaurant in the main building not so much.
Staff in the main building’s restaurant and cafe
The beach was excellent very close to the location, the room was adequate, as we expected to be, the location was good.
we found the service backing. The restaurant staff were not friendly; they were, in fact, rude. While most things were as we expected, there were episodes with the staff support that we found lacking. On the night we arrived, we visited the hotel restaurant. I got food poisoning from the swordfish dish recommended by the waiter, and I stayed in bed (vomiting) for 24 hours, feeling squeamish for the next two days. My family and I were surprised by the lack of service from the breakfast staff. Given that this is a tourist destination, I would have thought good service should be an important aspect of attracting new business, but in our case, this was not so.
