Dorint Hotel Alzey/Worms

Spacious room, all in ocean and beach theme. Bed was nice and cozy. Wide variety of breakfast items which was appreciated.

Being on the ground floor, our room was located next to a lot where people would sometimes walk around. Someone saw our window open and talked into the window. A little weird.

Great location just off the highway. Close to a retail park but very quiet. Comfortable bed and room spotlessly clean. Evening meal was very good and the breakfast was brilliant with a large selection of hot and cold food to choose from.Staff as usual were very polite, friendly and professional. I needed an iron to iron my clothes which the receptionist gave me along with an ironing board. This is the fourth time we have stayed here on our way and way back from our travels. Perfect!

Lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a comfortable area in the bar to relax and have a drink.

Plenty of parking space and Hotel is located very close to highway A61. 24 hour reception is nice. Good restaurant and bar in Hotel. big rooms very comfortable and clean.

No napkins at bathroom, no air conditioning, no freezer

I loved the beach theme which is very original - everything was ok and very clean. Very comfortable bed and spacious shower. And i was also given a quiet room, as I wished.

Room a little pricy. For the price I would expect to have a little fridge. It was extremely hot - there was, however a fan, which did help a little.

I enjoyed the unusual and refreshing marine ambience, and the breakfast was really great.

Room could have been cleaner, especially regarding dust. First shower taken and discovered that there was no soap. Also, why no coffeemakers and little fridges in each room? That would give more options and seems kind of normal to me for most hotels. Pillows were too fluffy and did not support my head. Mattress certainly was quite firm but some people like that.

unattractive industrial area, however if you want to stay close to the highway this is a good location.

The theme was so cute and the breakfast spread was amazing!

The noise coming off the nearby road

An aged Monarch who is starting to show its age but still a pleasant place to spend a night . Reception was businesslike and efficient. Had small inside room for bicycle storage . Room was adequate in size . Bathroom compact but clean . On-site restaurant had reasonable price point . Breakfast was more than adequate with hot and cold food choices.

Long and poorly lit hallways to rooms.Our room #154 was very poorly lit . Many things which had been bright and shiny when new are now tarnished , faded and worn . Carpet in our room had outlived its life expectancy and was dingy and showed its age . Major highway close by with accompanying vehicle noise all night long - not overwhelming but quite notable .

Very convenient location for the highway, fuel station and shops. Plenty of parking in an almost deserted public car park next to the hotel if the hotel car park is full. The hotel itself is brilliantly quirky and very quiet and comfortable. All members of staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Both evening meal and the breakfast were excellent. There was plenty of choice of hot and cold food for breakfast.

Like so many places on the Continent, they do NOT do disabled!! Despite requesting a disabled room on the ground floor, they gave us one on the next floor with no elevator and a huge walk (wife uses two sticks). They have just one blue badge parking space and just one proper disabled room (which was permanently booked until December!! Eventually we were moved to a downstairs room, but frankly if my wife was in a wheelchair, she would not have even got into the bathroom. The loo was too low and there were no extendable arms (as would be found in a normal disabled room.The beds are weird, looking like a North Sea beach hut which means that you really cannot use the bedside table. - Weird!!

Nice bed, funny interior, friendly staff.Nice location for a quick one night stop.

The room needs a little bit more cleaning with that carpet floor since we stepped on the little piece of glass.

Clean, comfortable and quiet

I returned to this hotel because of the nice "seaside" interior design. Large comfortable rooms with a special athmosphere. Difficult to find however as it is deeply nested into a commercial area outside of Alzey.

Signposting to the hotel could be improved.

In the room we had, the tile grout has black fungus growing in the shower area.The cover of the lower attaching point for the shower head holder isn't securely attached.Fresh air circulation into the room wasn't working, or is not available.

I loved how clean it was. I worked 35 years ago in this hotel and it felt amazing to return as a guest after such a long time.

That the restaurant was closed. However, I do understand that many were sick.
