Osaek Greenyard Hotel

The hot springs were amazing! The room itself was pretty nice but nothing special. The real amazing part was the carbonated hot springs, which were so relaxing and just a cool experience. We had such an great time and staff were very helpful.

The hotel is located in the beautiful Seoraksan Mountain, where the mysterious hot spring water changes color five times a day. The value of this hotel is the hot spring water that rises like gas. That alone makes me want to visit here again next time. The hotel facilities seem to have been repainted, but they still smell, and I don't know much about the service because I didn't receive it, and the staff doesn't seem friendly. If you don't go with special expectations, you can get by just fine.

Greenyard Hotel, which has an excellent hot spring that is hard to find anywhere else, has been renovated and is expected to become a special hotel preferred by people from all over the world who are looking for a mysterious hot spring, with its combination of Korean tradition, convenience, and cost-effectiveness.

Location was great for our intended trek and the scale of the place exceeded our expectations. The staff were very helpful, including telling us our planned route was closed. The main restaurant was closed earlier than we expected, but we'd been caught by Korean earlier eating habits before. So we had the chance to eat at the on site convenience store, which was fun.

Great location for walking in Seoraksang via osaek gate. It’s five mins from park gate. The room was a sumptuous suite.

Close to the hiking trails, and the hot springs are nice.

This faded beauty was once a modern resort, but she is showing her age. The carpets in the hall haven’t been cleaned since the 1980s.

The best part of our trip to Seoraksan is when we discovered our hotel has a gym filled with new exercise equipment. We started using some of the equipment on our own.Somewhat later, we met up with Exercise Consultant, Dr. Kim Kyuho. Dr. Kim started working with us by doing BMI measurements and evaluated our general health. He printed out the results and explained them to us. The following day, he oriented us to various dynamic warm up exercises and had us start using some of the machines and free weights under his supervision. He created an exercise plan for my wife and myself, so we can exercise more effectively at our own gym. On our final day at the hotel, he addressed very specific issues that relate to me, such as imbalances in my body due to a motorcycle accident I suffered when I was 18 years old. He was very enthusiastic and congenial. His goal is to raise our immune system by doing the right amount of exercise. If you are interested in your health, this is the place to go.

The hotel bed was ok for me but uncomfortable for my wife because it was too soft. We prefer a hard mattress. The hotel allowed up to move to their apartment rentals for a 30,000 Won increase. It had a futon bed which wasn’t very comfortable.
