Red Point

The Guesthouse is well-located. Comfy room (included microwave and fridge) with private bathroom.I enjoyed the bar in the basement.

Red Point is located right in the heart of Old Town Tabor. A quick walk to all of the central sites. I appreciated the ground floor rooms due to my bad knees. Also, the staff was very nice. There's also a basement bar.

I stayed 2 nights. The bed in my room was as hard as a rock. It was just a thin piece of foam on a piece of solid plywood. However, when I told the staff, they moved me to another room with a better mattress for the second night.

The staff was welcoming and spoke perfect English. Perhaps that was the only positive. Perhaps my expectation was too high. I do hope that they can improve and do well.

I think my assessment is fair. A few things they could've (and should've) done much better, easily.1. There were seemingly used plates next to the fridge and the table cover has burnt holes 2. Heating stopped at some point at night. It didn't affect me though. 3. Only very light blankets provided (at the end of December)4. Not sure whether it was a pillow or a cushion 5. Everything in the room looks so dated.

Staff was OK. The place is pretty much as described. I.e. just above a sports bar and filled with... lots of herbal smoke... As an alternative to a tent at a music festival, this is probably ok.

The place is fine if not much is expected :) well, if nothing at all is expected. In the middle of winter the heating was non-existent.. Our requests to turn it on were ignored. OK for a stoner, maybe, not for a real person. Actually, the tent would have been better, thinking about it now. Also no way getting a payment confirmation from these guys. Scammy..

Good location near city center, clean. comfortable room

Unique, fun place to settle for the night—I felt save and peaceful. The location is a quick taxi ride to and from the train station from the square just a few minutes walk away. I took a lovely walk and enjoyed the village and countryside, very pretty place.

Nice room.

After I left my room and took my luggage to my car, I went back to the hotel to say goodbye to the manager. They locked me into the bar for 30 minutes and made no attempt to release me. I would advise other travellers to avoid this hotel entirely.

I was pleasantly surprised by what I got for a very cheap room. For the price it was a reasonable en suite room, quite basic but clean and comfortable. Approximately 15 minutes walk from the main station.

The place has its own cellar bar but unfortunately it was quite smoky in there.

Cheap, well situated, clean. Good paid parking nearby.

Very noisy (VERY). Bed was a mess. Aside from that, got a very good eur message on departing morning from the host with “leave money or I will announce Booking” - not profi at all.

Location was very close to the main square. An unusual place but clean and ok for what we needed.

Information says it is ground floor and I guess you could say that but we had to take our bikes up several sets of stairs to get to it.

Very near centre of old town. Staff were helpful and responded quickly to queries. Getting keys was easy and quick.

Although there was a kettle there were no cups. We were only there for one night to go to the Ice hockey so it wasn't a big problem for us, but often if there is a kettle there is some tea or coffee.

Perfect location in the center of the city. Pleasant and friendly host.

There are no closing doors between WC, bath and the room. Extremely few dishes and they're all chipped and broken. Dirty. You have to wash plates and cups before using them. The room is designed for 7 people, but there are only about 5 broken and dirty cups. VERY ascetic existence. suitable to fall asleep for 1 night. If you are not embarrassed by the noise in the basement bar and the smoke from cigarettes and marijuana.

Large room, table and fridge inside. Great location close to the old square. Very convenient and good value.

Bedding was basic and limited.

maybe a bigger towel or a second pillow, and the mattress can be a bit thin for people with back problems, but nothing to really complain about. i was very happy there!

Hard bed, noise at night, smoke, TV didn't work

It's a cute place, location is great, we only stayed one night so I don't have much to say. The bed is kind of a hard/thin mattress, for us it was not a problem, we slept good - but maybe someone else will find this info useful.

The sign is not really above the entrance so you might need to go to the other side. I got to a locked gate (2pm, normal hour) with two tired toddlers - it worked out fast but for a few minutes it was very frustrating. Then the guy came and he was very nice and we got in and everything was ok. :)

Location.

Multiple electrical switches and wires are hazardously placed next to another, next to tap. You have a feel that it isn't safe to manipulate these switches and wires. Not all the switches function. Extremely old, used and insufficient kitchen appliances and cutlery for cooking a decent meal. Cooker doesn't work. Fridge that cools up barely after you figure out which wire links to the fridge. Extremely dated sofa that don't make you feel comfortable sitting on. Blanket covers that cause itches. The apartment is clean but not the sheets. I am not a fussy traveller but this room 6 is catastrophically lacking in basic amenities, comfort, cleanliness and safety (electrical wires). The establishment has an underground bar that plays disco music till 11pm or 1am (depending on the day of week). It is only 2 minutes walk to the city centre but you still need a taxi to and fro the bus/train station as it is still a long way to walk with all your luggages.

Basic room but with all you needed. Super friendly staff. Perfect location.

The bed and pillow was a bit hard.
