Pros +
- The staff kindness, this mixture between luxury, tranquility and nature.
- The property itself is very beautiful and close to our stay for a very specific reason - l the staff of the reception desk, a woman named Catalina, was wonderful. Everyone else, not so much.
- Somewhat secluded but very relaxing and calm. A family run establishment and all the staff were very kind, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was wonderful. Having a spa on site was great and we were able to book massages at the last minute. Overall an amazing find and I would definitely stay here again! If you’re looking for the hustle and bustle of a beach resort this isn’t it, but if you’re looking for peace, calm and relaxation this is your place!!
Cons -
- The location may be a bit to much apart of the main town So if you are planning to do several trips ( shopping, market ) it won't be the ideal plan. It is kind of a cool, relax and retirement weekend plan.
- The shower is deadly dangerous slippery with no soap in it either. They charge for l “ complimentary “ coffee. The management is lousy.
- The backroads to the property are a small and windy so not everyone may like the drive there.

staff are very friendly an helpful. The photos look more modern that the actual hotel. It is very dated in decor and facilities, but I suppose a more authentic country style old b&b...
Rooms a bit dated and worn but i suppose styled in an old timey type spanish villa
We absolutely loved our stay at the idyllic Aumallia Hotel - beautiful, quiet and peaceful setting. The grounds were immaculate, the spa facilities very modern, the rooms were comfortable and the foods was excellent throughout. The staff were very friendly and warm and made us feel most welcome - I could not recommend this place highly enough if you are looking for a restorative break from the busy world.
The outdoor swimming pool could be a degree or two warmer!
Excellent breakfast each morning and evening meal offered a choice of tasty regional dishes.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay but would have welcomed tea and coffee making equipment in our room.
Personal
Old,could and dark room. Poor interior. Not everything is perfect working.
Beautiful oasis to relax. Very friendly staff. Clean and a very nice little wellness area. Nice for a longer stay on a quite spot of the island??
A bit pricy, if you eat in the resaurant you have to pay for the ‚coviertos‘. As a customer of the hotel I find this inappropriate.
Truly a paradise on Earth! Rooms are spacious, spa facilities are amazing, the land around is just beautiful, and the staff is so kind and welcoming!
Everything was sooo amazing!
We had a fantastic time at Aumallia. The owners and staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The place was very tranquil with beautiful grounds and amazing spa. It felt like being on a retreat! We stayed in a 2 bedroom bungalow which was private and spacious. Breakfasts were freshly made and full of choice, served in a beautiful courtyard or cozy dining room inside. We had unforgettable experience and hoping to come back.
Great spa area; the rest of the hotel needs upgrading and improving.
Rooms and bed linen / blankets were clean, but very old and dated. Dining area was also very (very) dated with old tableclothes and equipment. The hotel tries to position it as "rustic / authentic" but it's simply very old and there has been zero investment in a long time. Guests are also charged €3.50 to sit down in the dining area, which is excessive give the state of the facilities.
Fantastic hotel, beautiful place, nice quiet location. EXCELLENT customer care, always attention, friendly staff. Nice breakfast and dinner with great service. Lovely hotel!
I don’t think I will return - although the Staff and family very sweet and nice. Maybe the Posada is in transformation? You don’t really now if they want to be modern with the SPA or the Rural Posada from the origins. The mix is to big and they would need a real professional interior designer to really make the best out of it. It was such potential and the house and location has much charm, but it doesn’t come to show. I would also welcome even better cuisine. It is ok - but it is not something you talk about or come back for! They need to get out of the comfort zone and decide what they what to be. The new rooms are very nice. The music, the quality. The SPA and gym are great and the hikes around are really nice! All in all it was ok and pleasant, but I will not return!
See above. Parts of the Posada is kept as it has been since 50 years and is out of style and a bit rugged and really out of fashion and not even cool. With some professional support you can keep some of the old fotos and furniture and mix with a new fresh and modern touch. Some of the old are fantastic, but some is really crazy (stuffed animals etc) out of place and ugly.
Super nice staff, very helpful with everything I needed. Great communication and warm welcome was much appreciated. The location and facilities are beautiful and the massage I had was one of the best I have ever had!
The spa area was very nice and in general the property was very nice.
For the price of the rooms I would have expected something better. In general the rooms are not really new especially the bathroom and the breakfast buffet was not as good (very limited offer) as the one we had at a cheaper hotel (a couple days before).
The vintage furniture in the hall and radio in the room were original features.
The stay was not at all up to the standards and extremely overpriced. It is hardly a 2 star hotel presenting itself as a luxurious one. The room smelled really strong of detergent, the fixtures were very old and used, the renovation is cheaply done. My towel had a hole in it and the bathroom door in our bedroom didn't even close ! At breakfast, I had a piece of meat in my omelet when I specifically asked if eggs came without it. Entirely unsatisfied.
Nice traditional dinner with seasonal menu every dayConfortable rooms, nice spaFriendly+ attentive staff
Everyone was most helpful. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced like the local wines.
Nothing really
the spa area, the main "house" the terrace where you ate breakfast and dinner, and the outdoor pool!
my room ... I had the room under the buffet area and I could listen when they were setting up for breakfast... but I saw other rooms in and on the new area, and they looked amazing. It was just this noise thing in that specific room we got (there is 2 more in that location) I would recommend to come here but ask for a room on another area the one close to the pool or the one close to the spa.
Everybody was so welcoming. The outside pool and the garden are very nice. The breakfast was delicious.
