Pros +
- High cleaness level. Good breakfast. Very good ratio quality vs price
- Clean cosy and convenient
- Located 5 minutes (by car) outside the centre the Schleifmuehle is a great place for business travellers. The hotel is a bit aged but well kept. The rooms are tidy and quiet. Free Wifi and parking are offered. I did not sample the breakfast, as I was visiting family, but I heard it is good.
Cons -
- If desk chair could be better for long time working it will be perfect
- The rooms are a bit crammed. Getting into and out of the shower is tight. There is no elevator and guests have to carry their luggage up a flight of stairs; the staff are offering assistance, so this is a minor point. There is also one room with a stir lift, but I have not inspected it.
- Nothing to complain.

Friendly, clean and flexible with cancellation available until 2PM the same day (which I didn't use). Didn't try the breakfast as I only needed an extra bed over Christmas.
Nothing to complain.
The room is small but functional. The bed is comfy, there is a couch and a desk. A balcony looks out onto a meadow with a small brook bubbling in the foreground - idyllic, very relaxing. The water pressure is great. Breakfast is available and included in the room price.
The decor and rooms are a little dated. There is no elevator, so I am not sure if there is mobility access. The shower cubicle is small and you need to squeeze past the toilette.
Clean, very well maintained. The furniture and decorations are not the newest styles, they are however maintained in like new condition. The owners clearly take pride in their hotel and the satisfaction of their guests. Wifi is great. Rooms are adequately furnished. Boxspring mattress in good condition. Bathroom is large and in top condition. Unbeatable at this price class. Bravo!
Friendly attentive staff despite there only being 8 hotel guests present.
It's a pity we couldn't eat in the hotel, but that was due to the covid 19 situation, not the hotel owner.?
Breakfast was good, location was ok , once you found it.
