Mountain Lodge Hotel

The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by breathtaking mountains and peaceful nature. The room was clean, cozy, and had a beautiful view. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, always ready to assist. The garden area was well-maintained and perfect for relaxing.

Honestly, there wasn’t anything major to dislike. Maybe just wish the Wi-Fi signal was a bit stronger in the rooms, but it wasn’t a big issue given how amazing everything else was.

The location was on the top of a hill and gave me a beautiful view of Skardu and the mountains.The staff were pleasant and the Hotel Manager Ayub was always looking to help.The breakfast options were limited but freshly cooked.The bathroom was nice and clean with hot water.I wanted privacy and a beautiful location and I got both in this Hotel.

The TV in the room was not working.The Wi-Fi signal was poor for 2 days and when a Chinese guest moved in to the room next to me the Wi-Fi signal improved.The electricity and main sockets did not work during my stay and only 1 light and 1 socket was working in the room.

Great views from its position on the side of the hill. Helpful staff and good menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chain with a different hotel located in Skardu itself which was useful for getting taxis back to the hotel, as it is too far to walk from hotel into Skardu. Appreciated the early check in.

Worth knowing that electricity is patchy. Lights always work but power to some plug sockets and fridge was very variable. Hot water also limited, most of the time just lukewarm.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The cuisine is really good. The location is incredible with great views of the valley. The staff is very helpful and they even drove me to the bus stop and helped me get my ticket to my next destination. Extremely recommended.

We stayed several times, before and after our treks. Brilliant place, with excellent people, fab location and very comfortable. Can't have enough of the view. Airport transfer was super great every time and I have nothing but thanks to send to all staff that I met at the Lodge. Can't match this in Skhardu!

The view , the food and lovely pods to sit out in the evening to watch the sun set or play a game of cards.

The drive to the lodge is rough and appears to be under construction. Not for the faint hearted as many of the roads nearby.

It was a standard breakfast which include paratha, omlete and tea.

Let's start with the view, simply breathtaking. Great mountain peaks of baltistan can be seen from a single view point. Went with family on tour, they also have drivers with car for tours, hospitable staff. Owner Mr. Ayub is simply a gem. Highly recommended if you want a quiet and peaceful stay away from the hussle and bussle of city life.

A hotel on the mountain slope outside of the city with a fantastic view over the valley where Skardu lies. Quiet and safe. Has their own restaurant, with good food. They offer a shuttle for the airport (about 30 min away).

At the end of a rather long mountain road up from the town - along the same road, there are lots of resorts; this one seemed the highest, providing splendid views, but a vehicle is certainly needed to reach the place.

Property has beautiful view from the view.Room was clean.

Electricity is the issue throughout Skardu, but they did not on generator at night. in the evening they were provide light, and in summer its hard to sleep without fans. we booked for 2 days but stay 1 day only in Sept. due to the no electricity provided at night.

People pretend that they don't want to scam you...but then they scam you

Booking price is not the real price. They said it's a mistake and the real price is TEN times higher, but they accept the mistake and are lowering it to JUST THREE times higher than booking price.For the booking price it's a good place, for the "real" price it's absolutely terrible and for the "discounted" price, which I finally paid after hour of negotiations, it's already pretty bad. My room had broken heating (30 minutes of launching by an employee was giving 1 minute of heating and shutting off). It's unbearable to be there in October - room temperature around 0 at night Ah, and forget about the breakfast - it's also not included as booking says. When I told them and showed info about it from booking, they started laughing

only downside is that if you want to stroll around the city, you always need to take a car, as it is far away from the centre

The hospitality , the view of the place , the cleanliness standard of food . Every thing was picture perfect. One of the best ever stay

The elctric power cut off/outage several times a day is not the fault of the hotel. It is from the local electric company for the whole area, no matter which hotel you stay in the area you will have the same situation and it should not be part of the hotel reviews of the Skardu area. So I am not complaining about it but informing that it is the case in the entire country just like India, Nepal and 144 other countries.

Great location near the satpara lakeside and easy walking distance Buddha rock ,Great city view. Clean and secure. Great night's sleep. Breakfast buffet ok. Hotel organised taxis and trips. Good advice on where to go skardu Baltistan

bed size was little small but it was ok, staff was cooperative but sometime little rude but generally they are very nice dont expect 24/7 wifi becoz of long power cuts, hotels run on generators these days
