Good cheap clean well positioned near the motorway hotel

For me the location was great has we had our car with us and we were close to family. Also it was good having 24-hour mcdonalds very close for a late night snack

If we didn't have our car with us, it's quite far from rotterdam Central

Great location, friendly staff in particular Leonardo very friendly and very helpful.

The room is small but has everything you need, bed is comfortable, there is a table, two chairs, fridge a security box. Coffee, tea and water kettle available. The windows has mosquito net (let this be inspiration for other hotels!). Affordable parking for EUR 7,50 per day. Near the highway but surprisingly not a lot of noise from the traffic.

Gas station and McD in front of the hotel make it somewhat louder throughout the day and night. Our room was at the end of the corridor and people (incl. hotel staff) kept smoking directly underneath it, bringing cigarette smoke inside. But the worst was the noise at night. First night some people at the hotel parking lot kept yelling, honking the car horns... until long after midnight. The second night, a truck (again, at hotel parking lot) kept turning on and off its motor since ca 8PM which made A LOT of noise and prevented us from sleeping. Shortly before midnight, my husband went to the reception and asked them to rectify the situation. The answer? They will speak with the driver in the morning (!!!). After a patient explanation, they unwillingly agreed to talk to the driver immediately. However, apparantly they didn't because the noise continued. Don't know how long, I probably fell unconscious from sheer exhaustion around 2AM. Thanks for "great service". Summary: during the day, the hotel was good (if you ignore the smoke) but it was impossible to sleep at night.

The location was good, as I only had a few minutes' drive to the customer. As I was on the top floor, the traffic didn't bother me with the window closed.

The breakfast was an absolute cheek.The hotel calls it a breakfast buffet.For €20 a day there was only some cheese, sausage, vegetables not worth mentioning, a few ragged rolls and bread, plus scrambled eggs from the packet and burnt bacon.I only ate 40%, the rest was inedible. And all for an outrageous €20!That's why this was my last stay at the Ibis Vlaardingen.

Toilet a little small for a person who is tall (1m90)

It's fairly close to the Hook of Holland harbour, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The view from the window was nice.

The showerhead wouldn't stay up, had to be held by hand. There was no kettle/tea/ coffee in the rooms. The room was exceptionally small. Entrance was tricky to find by bike.

Everything was fine, as per what I would like. Breakfast very good

Restaurant not open in the evening but that was not a problem as they offered 'order in'

The room had a smoke smell The staff were sitting in the office behind the bar on their phones and there was people including me waiting for drinks The shower head holder was broken so you couldn’t get a decent shower had to spray your body with the shower head it self

Personnel misled us about available meals. The exit gate boom came down on our vehicle when we tried to enter the parking area.

Breakfast was poor . The room wasn’t clean and the waiting staff , not around most of the time . Very poor service

It was clean and modern

The breakfast was terrible. The only hot food was very badly made scrambled eggs and crispy streaky bacon. There was no visible staff should you need something. There was a MacDonalds next door where we had breakfast. Given how bad the breakfast was we didn’t bother with the bad menu.

Great check-in experience, clean comfortable rooms, nice bar and restaurant. Parking. Excellent breakfast
