Best Western Hotel Halle-Merseburg

Good breakfast, clean room

A bit pricey.

Perfect for a night's stay. Nice and quiet hotel, and dog friendly. Staff were polite on check in/check out.

Location, staff, breakfast, facilities

No fridge in the room. TV package with limited channels.

Large room for German hotel

The parking garage was full very quickly and as a woman I had to walk about 8 blocks from a very dark parking lot because that was the only legal parking around , even though I told the staff that I wanted parking they gave my spot away the next day !!!!!

Close to the town and public transport. Good shower room.

Bed not too comfortable. Design is rather old. Pricy for the facilities available.

Rooms were simple but comfy

Bit dated but still good value. We weren't aware we needed to pay for parking. Car park round the back was a bit small.

Bad

The bed was uncomfortable, and the pillow was impossible to sleep on. The room was unbearably hot, and there was no air conditioning or ventilation. We opened the window at night, but the room faced the railway, where very heavy and noisy trains passed all night, waking us up repeatedly. We didn't sleep at all due to the heat and noise. The pool was very cold, and the sauna was inexplicably not working, even though there was no announcement about it. It's unclear why this hotel has four stars. This is not the level of service one would expect from a hotel of this rating.

Hotel as you should expect from Best Western hotel. Clean rooms. Good restaurant in the hotel.

Parking around the hotel is limited. The parking garage has not enough capacity.

The hotel is a good walk from the historic town. The room was large and comfortable.

The restaurant was closed until 6pm.The breakfast was rather expensive when you don't eat meat. We ate in the restaurant in the evening. There was not a great choice for vegetarians.

Friendly staff, good breakfast

Facilities are quite old

Location

Water temperature was not consistent. There were some dust/dirt residues. Found an item from previous visitor under the bed.

Poor value for money. Not comfy at all. Bad location.

Outdated facilities. Taps in bathroom half broken. Mattress too soft. Pillows 2 different sizes, one too fat (unable to sleep on it at all) and one too flat. Located directly next to train lines meaning there was a noise even at 1 am. Expensive parking.

Very good breakfast, large rooms, kind staff, good spa area

furniture a bit old, however clean.

very good fitness room. good breakfast. parking for a reasonable price.

no fridge in the bedroom. having to go back to the reception to get a parking token every time you're leaving the parking lot. my room was very close to the train tracks. Not all rooms have this problem though.

Comfy room and bed. Excellent breakfast with a good selection of food and drink. Sauna and pool were clean and tidy. Great restaurant at the hotel and other options a short walk away.

Pleasant

It’s far away from 4 stars hotel. Breakfast were very non delicious. The smell in all corridors reminds times of soviet union.

The restaurant was serving only buffet and no a-la-carte. I like this a lot. Wifi was good, Breakfast was good and not included in the basic price.

Parking in garage is expensive. Parking on the street is not allowed.

Comfortable hotel in a quiet location, very clean, nice breakfast.

They prepared everything early as we came, here I mean baby bed and sleeping Sofa.

Parking area

Staff very friendly

Pool was not open. AC didn’t work. Overall Hotel could use a refurbishment
