Holiday Inn - the niu, Hop Forchheim by IHG

Rooms are big enough, beds and mattresses are very relaxing, TVs are smart and with big diagonal, the bathroom is also big, with heated floor. During the night no noises disturb my staying. Overall I was truly enchanted with this accommodation.

A restaurant will be very welcomed as the town is lacking of places to eat, especially before 5 PM. But the breakfast was very good and with various foods.

Comfortable bed, quiet room, close to train station, and good food.

Parking garage was full so we had to pay for parking elsewhere. Carpet stains. Flat shower and sink making it difficult to completely drain. No shower door

Wonderful welcome by Tracy - Thank you! Clean comfortable room, and shower. Location 1 km from town. Bikes were stored in a locked garage. Bahnhof and Bakery/cafe next door.Elevator. Quiet - good windows keep out traffic noise.

Location and clean.

Rooms were supposed to have a/c but it timed out after ~30min so the room became hot all night. One staff member was rude/unhelpful but the other was nicer.

I had a medical emergency while staying here, and the staff went above and beyond to assist me with the Emergency Services that had arrived. It greatly helped with my situation. Internet is plenty fast for remote work.

I stay often at this Hotel and it fulfils my expectation on value for money.

Especially when arriving later in the evening there is not enough people to serve the different areas. Check-in, Bar, other services. Most of the times I find only one person doing all that and I need to wait very long. The staff is often quit overwhelmed and stressed. It is not a staff problem, but a management issue.

New stylish hotel

There is a parking in the hotel. But it was busy, we had to search for a parking lot around

Reduce bar price better signage for parking.

Very clean, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast buffet and great location right next to the bus station.

Great for a road trip stopover. Basement parking with elevators. Early ok breakfast.

Strange looking stain on the carpet.

The location was great. Easy parking garage was under the hotel. The room was clean.Beds were comfortable.

The Air Conditioner leaked water all over the floor at night. It was a surprise to step into with bare feet in the dark! There is no place to put an open suitcase except on the floor right next to the bed, so I’d trip/step over my suitcase then into the water!. The staff was very understanding about this.

this would be a world class hotel if you had better customer service

the customer service was horrid. thr Staff didn't seem to care, weren't responsive, or helpful.

Good all round.If you spare the cleaning, you can get a free drink.

The open-air-parkplace in front of the hotel is so much cheaper than the hotel's garage.

The rooms are rather tiny. We slept for the one night so didnt affect that much but if I were to stay longer it might get a bit stuffy. Maybe some more non German channels although I understand that most of the tourists will be German.

This is the perfect hotel! It's near the city center, it's clean, it's cheap, the room is very big, there is a free car park, it's quite, the beds are really comfortable. In other words, it's just perfect.

The beeping every time one enters the room is extremely annoying and completely unnecessary. This could also be heard in the night from the other rooms as well.No kettle in the rooms, I had to wait between 10-15 minutes at the reception every time I wanted to make tea, as there was only one employee working.Kinda pricey in terms of what this hotel actually has to offer.

cleanliness and aesthetics were fine

water pressure was low in all 5 rooms on all days (reported on first day), breakfast so-so, no gym, price was EUR 185/night on average which we felt was high
