    Pros +

    • Outstanding staff, very helpful and welcoming. The beds were comfortable, the view was great, the location was charming and convenient.
    • Breakfast was outstanding and exceeded our expectations in both quality and service. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and everything was spotless and well-maintained. The location was perfect—right in the heart of the city and close to everything. A truly enjoyable experience from start to finish
    • The owner will greet you at the door with a great smile and tons of knowledge about the area. Great service, the whole team is wonderful. The rooms are very nice and the location is great, close to many good local restaurants, market, stores and St. John’s Church. Very nice local boutique hotel!

    Cons -

    • The bathroom was a little too small.
    • Honestly, there’s nothing I can say I didn’t like about the hotel
    • A/c in the room is rather weak..it can’t cool the room adequately and Selcuk gets hot! Windows don’t close well and the loose seal makes it a challenge to keep the room cool.

The host is super nice! We forgot to bring an outlet adapter, and the owner kindly provided several for us. When we didn’t have enough cash to call a taxi, the owner went out of his way to help us get one. He also recommended a great restaurant. Very helpful and friendly! The room was clean, and the breakfast was delicious.

Great host! Good English, very welcoming! Amazing breakfast although we felt maybe creates a lot of waste as we didn’t eat even half of what they served. Lovely swimming pool. Good location with all of Selçuk’s tourist spots within walking distance. Rooms were nice and clean.

Some points for improvement even though we rated the property 9/10.The swimming pool shuts down at 7:30pm for dinner. But even when dinner is done and there is no one there, you still can’t jump into the pool. It was 42 degrees this week, would have been nice to flex the rules a bit.The internet was very patchy. No lunch option.

The Manager was Amazing! Only stayed for one night and he made sure we made the most of our time there. The room was beautiful and comfortable,Breakfast had the fluffiest egg omelette I’ve ever had.

Very helpful and nice staff. The minute we walked in the manager was there to receive us and accommodate any interest on our short visit. The hotel has a lovely boutique personalized feeling. Very clean and nice decor.

Hotel is cute, location is perfect, staff is great, breakfast is amazing.

It can be a bit noisy with dinner guests eating late, roosters, and dogs. Not their fault, just a function of location and age of hotel. It's not terrible though and I still rate the overall experience as excellent.

The staff was amazing - so friendly. The garden/pool area was lovely. The breakfast was great.

The area is a bit noisy (roosters, barking dogs, motorcycles) and the room didn’t really block the noise.

Erdem is a wonderful host! All the staff are most kind. Great service with laundry. Beautiful, well maintained facility. Lovely breakfast and linens. Great advice and recommendations. Location is close to all major attractions and restaurants.

My wife booked this gem based on the affordability and the few reviews that were available. Without knowing exactly what she was booking she managed to hit a home run. It’s what I might define as a lovely boutique hotel with service you won’t find in any major hotel brand anywhere. Our room was delightful. Simple but elegantly comfortable. Our location couldn’t have been better. Short walking distance to the Ephesus museum, St. John’s Basilica, and fine restaurants. Ten minute walk to the train station as well. (Just don’t use Apple or google maps. They’ll take you on a walk that will leave you scratching your head). Livia Gardens real treasure is the people that work to make your stay comfortable and memorable. If you’re traveling to Selcuk to visit Ephesus or just to see this unique city, I don’t think you can make a better choice than spending your evenings at this fine hotel.

An amazing boutique hotel. Fab location, exceptionally clean rooms, comfortable bed and great bathroom. To top it off probably the best breakfast offering I have come across.Such a warm welcome, great advice, made restaurant reservations and could not have done more. Please choose Livia Garden hotel, you will not be disappointed.

Not their fault the call to prayer came at 5.15am
