San Paolo Al Convento

The location provided a wonderful view and quick access to a number of restaurants along the marina and the picturesque Old Town. The staff was extremely helpful who worked in the breakfast buffet area and the front desk staff was good.

The hotel was difficult to find due to the small signage. The weekend partying along the marina made late nights quite noisy. Old carpeting replacement and some wall repairs should be conducted.

Pros: The staff was amazing! Really nice and hard working people. The hotel was in a beautiful location within walking distance of many restaurants and cafes and is directly on the marina.

The rooms were a little old and could use some renovation. It was still very clean though!

A little rundown. No taxi service at the train station (not the fault of the hotel). The hotel did help me arrange a ride...but I found that Trani was not always the most inviting to tourism

Very nice hotel in the old town. The hotel does not have parking, but there are many free parking places in the street nearby.

Average breakfast, no disent coffee. In the refrigirator, there were just water bottles. We assumed it was complimentary, as usual at 4 stars hotels, because there was no notice about it in the room. To our serprise, we have been asked to pay 4€ for the bottles (it's not the money but the attitude, charging without informing upfront)

No tea making facilities.

The best part of our stay was the breakfast. There was a lot of options and it was delicious. The location was also great, it was easy to get to from the train station and walk around the town. The room was big and comfortable.

The shower had some mold in it and it had a bit of a smell in the room; the carpet in the room was also a bit concerning. We were also charged for a cot bed when we didn't officially request it but it was brought into our room on the 2nd day.

Breakfast poor, a selection of cheap boxed cereal.Tinned fruit. and loads of cakes. Pastries were ok.

Rooms very dated, no tea or coffee facilities in the room. Air con worked well but very old and noisy.

You can feel a timeless atmosfere of Trani from the hotel . We found a free parking in front of the hotel.Closest pebble beach is in7 min walking distance. Lido colonna sandy beach is 9 minute driving. Nice park is behind the hotel,and beautiful port is in front of the hotel with fisherman selling they daily catch.Trani cathedral is unforgettable.

Fantastic location nice hotel, but the air-conditioning broke

The air-conditioning broke we reported it and the nightporter said it could not speak English so we had a very bad night no sleep

Fantastic location and peaceful space. Wonderful setting looking over the beautiful harbour. Hope to return soon. Highly recommend.

Slight whiff on the corridor.

Beautiful building in splendid location at the harbour, amazing staff and spacious superior room and bathroom; pittoresk sea view overlooking the harbour towards cathedral .

Interior a bit outdated. Especially old worn of carpet in room and furniture. Small shower with partially broken shower tap.

Great location and very nice staff

Only breakfast provided on site. No other facilities. The quality of the breakfast was mediocre. No museli, bananas, berries available and the coffee was poor. This would definitely be an area to improve.

Location, interesting building, port views

The location in the middle of the old port is beautiful and allows you to be walking distance from the canter and the nice restaurants. The hotel is using a historical building that used to be a monastery and the breakfast is served in the old . church - the experience is very romantic and perfect to feel the character of Trani

The breakfast was a bit dull and the serving staff did not speak English so its was hard to ask fro basic things like salt.

A truly impressive building, excellent location, very friendly and efficient personnel - they catered to our every need. Very nice breakfast, clean rooms

Can not think of anything

We have a large spacious room with a beautiful view of the port, the layout of the bathroom, and the comfort of the chairs in the room was not very good however, it was spacious and clean with a good breakfast

The shower design was stupid. It would’ve been adequate accept. The water mixture is in the shortest space so no matter how you stand your bumping into it.
