Apa Hotel Himeji-Ekikita

Location and price

Booked a non-smoking room and was given a smoking room which stank and no option to move by the staff.

Great location. Easy walk from the train station, close to the castle, and surrounded by many different places to eat.

The rooms were nice, plenty of space. Staff was very nice! Breakfast wasn’t bad. Close to Himeji Castle and Koko-en.

Could be a little cleaner.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The location is perfect—close to everything. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety.

Room is well equipped, Air condition, refrigerator, kettle, TV. They have luggage storage room

small bed, small room :-(

Good location, friendly staff, clean modern spacious (for Japan) room, allowed early luggage storage

Good location and facilities

Room a bit small, maybe use higher beds so luggage can go underneath

Convenient location for an overnight stay. Stored luggage before check in & after check out.

The hotel is near the train station and the centre of town but is quiet. Everything was clean and the staff were friendly.

The bed was a bit too soft for my taste and the room was quite small.

The location is great - just a few minutes walk from the train station. The hotel check-in and check-out were easy and the room had a very comfortable bed, two types of pillows, free movies and a built-in plug adaptor.

The hotel staff sets the air conditioning, so not much flexibility if you feel hot or cold, although the temperature was just fine.

Super clean, our 2 rooms were like new, very close to the station and the castle. The staff was friendly and we were able to leave our bags for free at reception after we checked out.

The pillows, one too hard and 2 nd too bulky, but that could be just a personal preference.

Location was brilliant. Everything was clean, efficient , check in/out simple. Very comfortable room and bed and duvet felt luxurious. I would definitely book an APA AGAIN.

Not far to walk from station one way and to the castle. Also it was next to the bustling malls.

Passable

Bad noise protection of room on the first floor. Not even from street, but also from corridor

Location so close to Himeji station and the castle. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area.

Its room was really tiny and there was hardly any room to move around in the bathroom

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Easy checkin/out. Room was classic Apa.

No public bath.

Location ok clean friendly staff

Breakfast only just ok

The price/quality ratio was pretty decent even though the rooms are extra small. Breakfast was great and the views from the breakfast room was inspiring in the Winter morning.

The rooms are small but it's not the top of hotel where you're going to go and spend time in. For sleeping and spending the day outside is absolutely fine. Apparently their curry is famous and it does rise to its fame.

Hotel was located in a prime location, train stations and various shopping arcades are located within minutes of walk. The facilities were very good, staff were patient and helpful. Morning breakfast buffet ¥1500 was very worth and wide varieties of local delights.

Pillow too hard mattress too soft

Great central location close to the train station, food spots and a short walk from the castle.
