No. Everything was just fine.

Although to room is Microtel size the staff and amenities are outstanding, even provide a night robe. Within walking distance to central rail station in the most beautiful city of Japan. Italian Tomato restaurant has great food at reasonable prices.

None. Ran out of room above. Good central location to see Hiroshima, Miyajima, Kyoto, and Nara.

A cozy and comfortable stay with very hospitable front staff. Amenities were plentiful and thoughtful. Breakfast buffet was ample and featured delicious local foods.

Seems a bit odd to have to go through two carparks, without specific provision for pedestrians, between the street and the building. There is a somewhat drab ten-minute walk, with hardly any shops or restaurants, from the hotel to the nearest station.

Spacious room by Japanese standards, spotless white bedsheets, very clean rooms, plenty of cosmetic supplies available by the reception, excellent breakfast.

The rooms were much more spacious than I was expecting! And it had comfortable places to sit, both a desk and a side table and chair. (The twin room had two chairs, and there was room enough to drag over an extra chair and have an in-room meal together.) The breakfast buffet was good, and included both Western and Japanese options. My friends felt happy staying here.

The microwave was annoying to use and noisy. They should consider a quieter model that has actual time dials.

Close to the train station and easy to find. It was the most comfortable bed I slept in while in southern Japan. I appreciated the different pillow options too.

Everything about this stay was perfect. We only stood one night, but got to see & do everything we wanted to do because it was all within walking distance. I’d definitely recommend this hotel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ All the way around.

That we only stood one night. Could have definitely stood in Himeji a lot longer vs. Tokyo or Osaka. Beautiful Prefecture and Hotel & Staff was icing on the cake.

The Richmond Hotel is about a 15 minutes from the train station. It is located off the Main Street, with an area that serves as a car park for visitors and locals.The room was one of the best overall compared to other hotels we've stayed at. Clean, comfortable, spacious. A breakfast is offered. You should check on whether there are seats the morning you intend enjoying the breakfast.

We liked everything about the hotel: location, comfortable, spacious and clean.

Although not on the Himeji Castle side of the rail station, it was located close enough to walk, with a quiet area and safe! Very clean, organized and professional!

The location is good, about 7-10 mins walk from the JR station. The whole hotel is very clean, and I like the breakfast.

Good place, wonderful staff, comfortable bed, perfect amenities and the best breakfast I had in Japan!Btw the coffee which you can make in the room is actually really good, as it is similar to pour over.

The building is new & compact. Breakfast excellent! The bathroom & toilet is new & well equipped.

The room is very small for two. With twin bed there is hardly any space between the beds. The exhaust & AC duct has not been cleaned and one can see the dust clearly. The hotel doesn’t has a dinnnThere are no restaurants around. The bed futon had blood stains which was unnoticed or ignored till we shared and was changed immediately.

Location is perfect, it's very clean and comfortable.

Clean, comfortable room. Quiet. Staffed front desk. Very near train station.

All four washers did not drain properly, so dry cycle did not work. Had to find a coin laundry nearby to dry our clothes. Notified staff so perhaps this will be addressed. Don't know if it is a chronic problem.Although hotel is obviously newer, the hallway carpet appeared in bad condition with fading and staining visible.
