Hotel Am Ring

Pretty place, beautiful hotel, right in the city center. Very warm and clean

The location was very convenient, close to the main attractions and easy to access. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the bathroom was spotless. Overall, everything was well organized and made the stay pleasant.

Nothing at all — everything was perfect during our stay. There were no issues, and everything met our expectations. We truly enjoyed the experience.

Location, value

The shower door didn't close, there was water on the bathroom floor, always, the tiles had little imperfections in them where water would stay even more. Afraid I may have caught something from that, should have brought flip flops ?

Location is excellent; right on the main square and a restaurant right there. The decor is interesting, with busts and vases and the like.

The mini fridge didn’t work, and the shower was quite slow to warm up, though it was fine once it did get warmed up. The bed was rather hard.

A wonderful hotel right in the heart of the city.The view from our room was directly over the main square – absolutely stunning.The room itself was elegant and full of character, with beautiful wooden beams on the ceiling that added to the atmosphere.

The shower head seems a bit worn out and sprays water in all directions – it might be time to replace it.

The location is perfect on the main, largest square. There is nearly unlimited choice of food and attractions right out the door. There is also a Carrefour express less than a block away.The room felt like it belonged in Pele's castle; the furnishings, the art, the size, the high ceilings. The windows in the room opened onto the plaza providing an expansive view. The halls of the hotel continue the castle feel with luxurious appointments and art in nearly every corner.

The biggest challenge is parking. After searching, the public parking near Citadel Park worked very well for us. It is less than a 10 minute easy walk to the hotel.

The location

My room was the last one at the end of the corridor, which means it was far from the elevator.

The hotel is located in a beautiful historic building located at the central square of Sibiu (old town). It's nicely decorated inside and the rooms are specious and very comfortable. Everything was very clean. Rafał & family

To accommodate our 4 persons family, the hotel provided us an inflatable mattress which flattened during the night and was very uncomfortable. In addition, finding a parking place for a car in the center of Sibiu may be a challenge, but it's not a hotel fault (the hotel has no private car park).

Even at 36 Celsius degrees outside my room was cool and I did not need air conditioning. Also very quiet, which was a nice surprise considering the hotel central location.

Nothing really

This hotel is right on the main square, very near all the sights in town. The hallways and rooms are wonderfully decorated. The hotel is very clean. The hotel staff are very nice. The restaurant that is also part of the hotel has a nice terrace that looks out on to the square.

My room was so dark and dim I could not read. The light bulbs were very low wattage. Adding brighter lights would make this wonderful hotel even better.

Location is amazing! Right in the City Center. This was mid-week in May. So I suppose it could be loud on the weekends. To stay in such an historic place, with good amenities is wonderful.

The location, the view and water pressure. Also the design was very rustic, like you were transported back in time. Staff were very friendly and they also had a luggage hold option which was a big positive for us.

The sink was blocked but only reported it on check-out as we arrived in the middle of the night and only stayed a night so wasn’t a major inconvenience. Not necessarily a negative but the mattress was very firm.

Great location, clean and quiet inside given the central location, room large, basic with satellite tv and clean comfortable bed. Easy to find and check-in/ check-out process smooth.

The location of the hotel is right on the old town square. Many restaurants and cafes are around including the hotel's.

The room is big except the toilet. The way it was constructed could have maximize the space of the shower and the door does not make it accisible too. Even the entrance door should have opened from the outside.

the location is practically in the center of Sibiu - the pietonal zone. the rooms are big and with the touch of time. very beautiful. the bathroom? you could say it s another room :)

I liked that you can order at the restaurant and they bring it up. The room is modest.

The bed sheets could use a change, they are very used up.
