The Flying Fish Hostel

Comfortable hostel. We were in a private room that met our needs and was well priced.

It would be nice if there was a stove in the little kitchen for making meals. The curtains on the window in the room that faced the street and the circular stairway were very thin. People coming up the stairs could see into the room.

the room is clean and the bed is comfortable.

the toilet is a bit old. and the water pressure is horrible. i didnt even wash my hair coz of the low water pressure like the water is gone every minute. the hotel should do something about this.

Aesthetic. Urban jungle. Loved the mini library! Wish it had a pool though.

Restaurant was too pricey

Good location. Near rizal blvd., airport, sea port.There are restaurant and laundry around the area.

Stayed in a superior room. Lights are too dim, bathroom emits bad odor.

The industrial style

Low water pressure. Shower head is not clean or well maintained that’s why there’s hard water build up.

The accommodation is good and clean but the location is not very ideal because it is near the busy road so if you are sensitive to noises, it will disrupt your sleep. Also, one of the occupants snored too loud when I was there so I ended up not having a good night sleep :(

The building is new and very stylish. It mixes concrete, wood and nature. The area is quiet but close to nice restaurants and bars. The staff was very nice and friendly.

We had issues with lack of water for a couple of days but the staff was helpful and the issues were resolved.

Bunk Beds were too high. Stairs to upper bunk not that safe.

I liked that the dorm room was neat and tidy; it felt secure to leave your things by your bunk without worrying about other people taking advantage of them. The other guests and staff were friendly and respectful of other people's personal time and space. The facilities and amenities of the entire place were well-maintained and were designed well for the user. The neighborhood was also conducive and peaceful to relax in and walk around.

Close to the university, the waterfront, and restaurants. The design of the hotel was pretty cool. Bed was also quite comfortable. Appreciate the availability of filtered water for drinking.

The water pressure for the shower on the 2nd floor, private room and private bathroom was so low it could barely wash me. The water also came out brown after the rain. Because of the architecture, while nice, is somewhat open air so cigarette smoke and mosquitos get into the room.

I like the setup of the room. very comfortable and allow us to have our own privacy. the place are clean as well. It is very comfortable.

As it is near to the road, it might be a bit noisy, especially at night when the street gets busy. There is no heater in the bathroom as well.

Perfect location close by the airport, rooms are simple but very clean, lots of space where to chill even after check out time, staff is very kind, breakfast is delicious!

I stayed at the Flying Fish two times. On my second time the room was very noisy for some reason, looked like someone was walking on top of the ceiling window, also a/c is pretty old and noisy too. there’s no way to regulate the temperature of the water. apart from these details, everything was perfect!

I like that it’s very spacious and clean. I also love the cafe/resto right beside it.

Wish they had curtains for each bunkbed!

Location as it is near the airport

Their towels (not that clean) and pillows (not that comfortable) can be improved.

I cancel the Hostel at The Flying Fish Hostel the moment i saw the place because the photos did not match the room that was give i booked for a superior room however the pictures that were shown were deluxe room, this is false advertsing on their part, The room and the bathroom was unfinished. Had to rent another place last minute.

I like everything. From the room, bed, clean bathroom and nice staff.

The lower bunk bed has no curtains for privacy. But it's okay for me. But not for some. It's fine in totality.
