Sierra Hotel

Customer service was great

Room was not very good and the Food was bad! I would not go back if it were free!

It is new.

Staff is inefficient.

Could improve more Greasy choice of foods

Fried fish overcooked

Great location, staff were helpful and lovely, AC worked well but was a little loud, beds comfy.

The breakfast had a lot of great filipino options but not so many international breakfast options like english and american breakfast or vegetarian options.

The place is in a good location. The staff was friendly when I checked in and also when we checked out.

We got to our room and had the wrong room key and the room door was unlocked. There were no towels and water kettle in the room. We had to call 3 times to get towels and then only 2 shower towels were brought up, nothing for the floor, or your hands. Also the shower head was about 50% clogged, could use a good soak to clean the openings on it.

Smells like dust.

Omg! There is no hair dryer and had to deposit before you can use. The worst hotel we’ve stayed in and paying high amount!!!

Great breakfast buffet. Different main courses and selection every day. Nice pool and exercise room. Emergency generator for occasional power outages was a great asset. Supplied complete power for Air conditioning and all other needs.

Excellent staff, restraunt and breakfast. Not perfect , but at the price point it's a high value Hotel. Yes, I would definitely recommend to a friend.

I think it's a SE Asia tropical climate issue, but there were a lot of bugs , as was the case in EVERY Hotel I've stayed at in the Philippines.

The location and the cleanliness

I guess the buffet menus..not a lot of choices…and the buffet area, if you will dine inside the restaurant when you get out from there your clothes and hair stink… the smell of food is sticking in your clothes?

The staff was awesome the included breakfast buffet was excellent. I didn't want or need for anything

Location was a little out of place. But close to everything

Good, quiet location and nice breakfast bar and pool.

The gym equipment was broken. There were no towels in my room. It was expensive for the value. The non balcony rooms don’t have any outside lighting.

Love that they are close to everything in the city.

Staff were good. But a couple times did the housekeeping intentionally entered our room. Good thing the metal lock prevented them.

Near the airport

Rooms assigned to us has no window and beds were not comfortable and very small. Breakfast selections are just enough

We stay here often. Good food great staff especially Flor . She is the best. Front desk staff ?. We live in Dumaguetee but enjoy a couple nights there with a swim after the breakfast buffet.

Pool, parking, location

Mattress is too hard

The morning receptionist and guard was soo kind to us.Location is close to our business venture.

The bed was advertised as a king but was only a queen. Parking is very limited and not prioritized for guests—I had to beg for a spot while others drinking on-site were given preference.I arrived to a missing bath mat, requested towels, and after being told to “look for a towel first,” no one ever came. The security guard was harsh, and the receptionist offered no help. Breakfast was also so-so and not suited for foreign guests.Overall, very poor service and misleading amenities. Not recommended—there are much better and cheaper options nearby. ( Ive been to many hotels around Dumaguete and this was my worst experience so far)

The staff is very nice and accommodating. The included breakfast was very good.AC in the room was great. It can freeze you out which was very welcome after a hot day on the town. There is a coffee shop, laundry service, and barber shop right next to the hotel which was super convenient. The room service has very good food options. We loved the Ceasars salad, fetichini pasta dish, stir fried beef, and fried ice cream. So much to choose from, and all of it is very tasty.

The shower needs a detachable shower head. We liked the shower, but adding a detachable shower head as well would be very nice. There was no iron or ironing board. Would be nice if you could request one brought to your room. The TV was not a smart TV. Would have liked to watch Netflix.

Nice roomie room hotel was very nice. Great breakfast. Nice pool located just a block off the ocean.

Great location very clean and GREAT Breakfast Buffet

No view from my room just mattresses out side my window

Room was very small for a deluxe room, older and not comfortable. Asked for a room that was bigger. Got a double room on top floor but the lift was playing up. After one night the lift broke and was not going to be fixed until the next day. We decided to leave.
