    Pros +

    • Incredibly relaxing resort, perfect to escape from everything and so welcoming. We spent a long weekend there and would definitely stay again. Very comfortable, home like feeling, small and friendly, great breakfast.
    • Tranquil location but not too far from town. Excellent breakfast Spacious rooms Friendly staff
    • Location was beautiful, bit out of the way without a car but easy taxi rides into town , hotel is lovely , clean and the staff are simply amazing ! Food on site and nearby lovely , breakfast was delicious

    Cons -

    • Not a negative for us but good to note the resort is outside Alghero so a taxi is essential to get to the town or beach, there is nothing in walking distance. This was good from us as we just wanted to relax
    • Beds were rather uncomfortable and bedding needs updating
    • Nothing !

We stayed in this hotel due to he proximity to Alghero. The site felt like a beautiful retreat away from the city. The property is very beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. The rooms felt very ample and comfortable. The staff were very nice and breakfast very good!

    The breakfast and Room

Rude staff members, especially the morning receptionist. She was talking to us like children. It calls itself a hotel and spa but you have to pay over 100 Euros to use the spa.

We spent three wonderful days at this superb hotel in Alghero. The first thing I noticed was the hospitality and warmth of the people who work in the hotel. We would like to especially thank Mrs. Debora who prepared us a delicious breakfast every morning, a perfect espresso and who, with her good mood, made us have a wonderful start of the day. Also, all the hotel staff were extremely kind throughout our stay. The room is large, clean, bright and with a huge terrace. The bathroom is very clean and equipped with everything you need. If we return to Alghero, this hotel will definitely be the best choice! Thank you for everything!

    All good!

Location:The hotel was better than expected. Nice view and a lots of green surrounding the hotel, it gives you a peace of mind. Some people complained about noise from the nearby road. For us it was not the case.Furthermore it's 10 minutes from Alghero city and 5 minutes from the Lidl, by car.The hotel has a few parking spots, we never encountered that it was full. There is a restaurant next to the hotel and also in front of the hotel. Breakfast: Breakfast is nice, all kinds of sweets, like cakes and croissants. Furthermore they have eggs, bread, yoghurt etc..By the way, Deborah is great and so kind. She always made sure that we didn't dehydrate :)And always up for a chat. She gave us tips what to do for the day.Actually all the people working there are friendly and helpfull. Got to love their hospitality. In short: We enjoyed our time and will come back next year. We just hope by then they have different mattrasses and pillows. It will save us a trip to the chiropractor.

Rooms:Rooms are clean and gets cleaned everyday. You have a terrace or small garden. The thing we hope the hotel take in considaration and hopefully will change is the matrasses and pillows. The mattrasses are kind of hard, but that's not the worst. The pillows made our neck hurt bad.. would be better if they would have pillows with memory foam, a tip :)Also our rooms was full of mosquitoes. Maybe they can ask house cleaning to use a repellent spray. That would be so kind or install some insectscreen so you can open the door but incects can't come in

Very friendly staff. Rooms immaculate. Breakfast delicious. Pool beautiful.

Location was remote. Would benefit from free shuttle into town. Ordering what to eat for lunch at breakfast unappealing and restaurant nearby was either booked or had technical problems.

The pool area and the gardens are nice too

The room. Dark and felt damp. Got absolutely no sun. There was no point in the day when the sun shone on the terrace and into the room. Breakfast was expensive for what was on offer. There is no restaurant as part of this accommodation. They get food in from a nearby restaurant on a pre-order basis for lunch.

From the warm and professional welcoming to the moment we left, we felt so spoiled by the lovely people working in Sa Cheya. Breakfast is varied and delicious with a wide range of homemade, both savoury and sweet choices. Our bedroom was spacious, bright, and comfortable with two terraces to chill and lounge. Last but not least, the swimming pool and the gardens are perfectly curated, providing an unparalleled relaxing atmosphere. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday this is definitely a special place!

    That I had to leave

The hotel is near Alghero, just 5 minutes away by car. The room was nice and comfortable. We also enjoyed some time in the swimming pool with the pool bar.

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Sa Cheya in July.

From the moment we arrived we found all of the staff to be friendly, helpful. Anna & Karen at reception were very welcoming and from Elena's extra breakfast coffees each norning to Michel's afternoon mojitos by the pool we were looked after really well and made to feel at home throughout the week. We'll be back, Ciao!

Amazing pool, beautiful restaurant on site, friendly staff who remembered our coffee orders after the first day, super helpful staff at reception. Spacious bedrooms

Taxis are expensive and so for trips to the beach, into Alghero and to and from the airport was €150

    8GuodaPosted on: 7-2-2024

Very good breakfast with plenty of choice, clean nice swimming pool, convenient location as it is on a way to Alghero. The room had separate entrance so felt like staying in a villa.there is a great restaurant with a superb service.

The room was a bit dark and outdated.

The place is just fantastic. We loved it there. Room was beautiful and the staff very helpful and nice. Our flight was early morning, so we needed to leave at 6am and even though breakfast starts at 7.30am, they prepared small breakfast for us before we left. It was very nice of them and much appreciated. The hotel areal was clean. Overall there is really nice energy in that place.

Restaurant - service was very slow

Loved the peaceful setting and the bed was extremely comfortable! Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the facilities - tennis and the pool.

    Balcony didn’t shut fully

We liked it felt like a small B&B rather then a big hotel. It was really relaxing pool was amazing and a good bar at the pool.Restaurant was awesome because not much around

It is a bit far from anything so everything is a drive.Breakfast was average

    8JamesPosted on: 6-4-2024

We liked the position of the hotel in the beautiful unspoilt countryside. The swimming pool and sunbeds were a lovely facility to come back to everyday after touring. The room we had had a large balcony and was air conditioned.. The staff were very attentive to all our needs.Their was a nice restaurant on site where you could get an evening meal with a discount for guests.Because otherwise one has to get in their car and drive into Alghero for night time drinks with a nominated driver who can't have a drink.

We were disappointed with there being no full time sit down bar that guests could spend time in the evenings. The hotel more or less operates as a bed & breakfast set up, with very little to do in the evening time but stay in your room with no opportunity to mix with other guests in the dark hours . The only communal room was the breakfast room which was all in darkness after 8 or 9 pm at night.Overall the hotel has the potential to be a great venue, but appart from the staff who were wonderful, the management should look at other hotels which provide low key entertainment at evening time for their guests.
