This is a nice quiet property only 6 min from Alghero airport. Staff (Simona), were friendly and helpful, restaurant has excellent food and the room was spacious. Even had a comfortable mattress and pillows! I'd totally stay here again!

A/C in room was not cooling to my liking.

The location is fantastic – nestled in the heart of nature, it's the perfect place to relax and disconnect. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained.One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast: generous, varied, and delicious. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, always with a smile and ready to assist with anything we needed. Another big plus was the pool – clean, refreshing, and surrounded by a peaceful natural setting.

The pool opening hours, which are a bit limited (from 11:30 am to 7:00 pm). We would have loved to enjoy an early morning or evening swim.

The magic place! Beautiful apartment and whole garden. The staff was very professional and smaily.

This was our third time back at Villa Barbarina. However, we found it under new management and there were some slight changes. You now pay for your pool towels, €5 per towel and there as a mini bar in your room. Other than that, wonderful stay as always. Very friendly staff, most of them speaking English and the restaurant was as good as we remembered. We'll be back!!

I will remember stay at this Villa for a long time because it’s in such a beautiful location among olive trees and vineyards. We stayed here for a week. The pool is nice and we ate at the restaurant every day. I liked the main building with close access to the pool (we changed a few rooms). The staff are so friendly and helpful and a real highlight of this property - thank you so much to Claudette (you’re the best!), Tonino and Gio, and girls at the restaurant! There’s also own parking which was super convenient. Cleanliness level is top.

Some suggestions from a guest’s perspective: adding kettles and coffee machines to the room so there’s no need to go and order each time, adding some variety to breakfasts (you get tired of eating the same thing every day, even though it all tasted great), selling more water /adding water to rooms - 2 euro for a tiny bottle is a bit too much in my opinion. We had a car so many things were convenient and we could drive to beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. Perhaps for someone without a car it would be more complicated.

The pool, calm and relaxing area far from the crowds

As in a lot of places in Sardinia you can’t get any food between 2 and 7.30 pm

We enjoyed the free breakfast and coffee, the peaceful surroundings, and the location.

When we first arrived to our standard 3 person room, all three of bedsheets were not clean. We brought it to the attention of the staff, and they took pictures and said they would notify the cleaning team of our complaints immediately. We had plans for the rest of the day so we didn’t stay to watch the beds be changed, however when we returned that night, we saw that all three of the sheets had been freshly changed. The WiFi was not working properly for most our stay. Given the condition of our room and after expressing our disappointment, the only recourse we received was them saying, “we would let management know.” Overall it was disappointing to arrive to unclean bedsheets, and we wish that they could have made up for it.

It was like an oasis of peace and quiet, completely surrounded by nature. The pool is amazing, the food is really good. Our host Claudio was very kind and attentive, he made us feel very welcome and we want to thank him for that experience.

The rooms were a bit dated, and the shower was not very clean. Nothing too bothersome.

Pros: - Beautiful location: quiet, cozy, relaxing. There is large olive tree garden and a lot of green area. Also the pool was very clean and not crowded.- The breakfast was good- the room was cleaned daily- large parking area- large bed and comfyHighly recommend.

Cons: - in the shower there is only an wall fixed shower head. It was better if there was a mobile shower head also.

We were at low season. Tasty breakfasts, helpful and nice personel. Good food in the restaurant at the evenings. Good quility beds with amazing pillows. Spacious parking with a short distance to the hotel.

Would be nice to have paved footpath to drag the suitcases on it.

Ok, but will not Come back

You have to pay 10 eur/day for a dog for cleaning, but room is clean really fast and not that good.

Pretty surroundings

It was out in the country and the restaurant was closed. Had to go out for dinner with a 15-20 min drive. Road back at night was dark and not lit well. Upon return I was the only one on the property with no staff on site. Was not comfortable with this as a solo traveler especially.
