Hotel Puerto Sherry

The room and view was amazing! Incredibly welcoming front desk hostess who gave us the kindest check in experience. Did I mention how gorgeous the room was???? We did not want to leave!

The pool seemed to be closed for some reason. Possibly a privilege scuba lesson but this was not communicated to us. It would have been nice to know what hours we were permitted to use it.

I booked a room in the winter and the heat did not work properly

Location was quite far away from beaches and city center. Required moving around with taxi, yet these could be hard to find. Wait times of up to 50 mins

The room was great, we had the room with balcony and it was splendid. The air con was strong if left too long that better than none. The rooms and hotel in general were clean. The breakfast was varied- bit expensive. I'll definetly stay again as the view and access to restaurants around we're great. The downside of this hotel is there are clubs near by which mean in the evening the roads are full of drunk teenagers in summer.

I didn't like how noisy and busy it was with young people around due to the clubs. We didn't have any problems though.

When we arrived we upgraded our rooms to have the balcony this was easily done & reasonably priced. We know the hotel, have stayed here before & will stay there again

The pool was undergoing refurbishment which ment we had to upgrade the rooms so we could sit out on the balcony’s normally we would’ve just sat by the pool & kept the original rooms. However it was early in the season & we understand maintenance work has to be carried out & therefore not the hotels fault just bad timing.

Dangerous!!! The bed lights get so hot that it burned half of the screen of my iPhone. The security at night immediately acknowledged the issue and pulled the plugs out while advising us not to use those lights. The night reception told us to take it up with the staff in the morning. Unfortunately the morning receptionist was immediate defensive, arrogant and non responsive to our terrible experience. My daughter had burned her hand to the light, and instead of asking whether she was doing well, she told us that we should have gone to the hospital in the middle of the night. We will never go back to this place. Customer service is non-existing. If one of the bedsheets would have be near the light, the whole room could have caught fire. When we approached the management, they could only point out that using our mobile devices in the rooms is solely our responsibility, what a joke. POOR LEADERSHIP

cleanliness and some staff more helpfulsome staff quite arrogant and difficultI asked if room could be changed due to sewage smell when we opened windowI was told they would charge me if change room even no fault of our own

excellent hotel spacey rooms clean spotless..very friendly staff

nothing arround except several restaurants which worked during the day and all were closed for new year eve. even in this class of hotel no room service after nine so we stayed hungry through put the night. no taxi too...transportation from hotel - only taxi to center of Santa Maria and then 45 min drive by train to Cadiz.we lost a lot of time on transportation onstead of sight seeing Cadiz. In booking presentation should be stated that if you want to visit Cadiz better not take this hotel

The room was big with a king size bed. Fabulous view from our balcony overlooking the Marina.

The hotel was in a good location, close to a supermarket, beach and good restaurants. The hotel had a nice indoor and outdoor pool/pool bar with a great view of the harbour. Staff were very helpful.

The room and balcony were very big but the room needs an update and at night it is very noisy with people walking in thr corridor, talking, closing doors. The entrance to the hotel does not look very inviting.

Breakfast didn't have a lot of variety and they ran out of options if you came in closer to the end of it.

The hotel needs updating. Cracks on walls, bathtub peeling, curtains din open well and not clean, patio furniture stained

Overall is a good hotel. I liked the breakfast and the outside bar. It’s easy to walk to the beach and there are loads of restaurants in the surroundings

The facilities are a bit outdated except for the restaurant outside

The hotel needs restoring. For breakfast more coffee machines needed.

Marina view was good from balcony.Offered hot food one day but not the next.

Hotel was full of school children, making the pool a no go area twice.We were required to pay a deposit for pool towels.As guests with accounts it should be unnecessary.

Staff were. Efficient , friendly staff and made every effort to converse in English. Rooms spacious and spacious terrace overlooking the yatch club. Easy access to marina, beach and walks. Night club just short walk away

The staff was super friendly and kind. The beach and supermarket is very close.

The air conditioner has not been fixed despite our complaint, resulting in a lack of cool air. Only warm winter blankets are available.

Good location, well constructed.

Entry and exit were problematic where we had to have a ticket to leave and enter the property.

We loved the marina location and the view from the room's huge terrace. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel.
