    Pros +

    • The character. Nicely maintained with cultural style and decor. We also appreciated the car park.
    • Very clean. Staff friendly.
    • Great location, only minutes from the train station, 20mins to the ferry terminal. Large and spacious clean room. Excellent Christmas Eve food and varied breakfast.

    Cons -

    • Old TVs and few channels. Not quite a 4* more.a 3*
    • The hotel is a little soulless. The access to the roof and pool was closed for maintenance. Endless elevator music seems to play over the courtyard, which means you hear it in the rooms that face onto the courtyard. Ditto the conversations of those who choose to sit in the courtyard till 1am. Breakfast was quite poor with the horrible coffee from the industrial pod machines. Shame as it's quite difficult to get bad coffee in Spain. If I was going there again, I wouldn't bother with the breakfasts, better to eat in the cafe section or go our to a local cafe.
    • Breakfast was just OK. Not sure if it had to do with the slow season. Would skip next time.

Interesting Building with lovely courtyard. Rooms were a good size, clean, and had everything you would expect from a modern hotel room, notably big bed. staff were ok, but we didn't need to interact with them very much. The location is good. We know the town we'll, but even if you didn't, you'd have no problems.10 to 15-minute walk to the center, 3 minutes to train station with connection̈s to Cadiz, Jerez and Seville..

Great Location, near the train station with free parking. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

The hotel has a nice relaxed old school feel to it. The restaurants and facilities have good hours and look great with a very nice lower level restaurant.

The location is good and bad, very close to the train station, and at the same time there are not alot of local places to see without a short drive or 10-15 minute walk.

A beautiful and unique hotel. Top quality food and drinks. The staff are all fantastic,so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We loved our stay and look forward to visiting again. We had a wonderful meal and our waiter Luis was incredible pairing wines with each course.

    Everything was perfect

    The quiet.

Only marginal accessibility. My wife hurt herself falling from her wheelchair at one point on the property.

    Good location / comfortable room

Terrible unmotivated unfriendly staff at the check in/out reception ? they might hate their job!?

Nice quiet spot away from the hurly burly of the ribera. Lovely veranda area to sit outside your room looking into the internal courtyard with orange trees and lots of birdsGood buffet breakfast ( pay extra) with everything you could possibly want - yog, nuts seeds dates apricots cereals coffee machine eggs fried or scrambled a million diff breads and patisserie options melon kiwi fruit plums bananas

Coffee machine was a bit testing for those not familiar with such things but the other guests were helpful!!!

Wonderful, friendly staff. The room had a good size and the bed was comfortable.Exceptional breakfast with helpful staff. The location was very convenient, close to the train station.

There was a constant water noise over night. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was ok.

Excellent historic hotel that was exceptionally well maintained and cleaned. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was very good.

The building itself does a lot of the heavy lifting here as it is a delightful place where you could be happy just looking at the old architecture without worrying about the rest of the facilities!Excellent dinner in the restaurant with attentive and chatty staff.

On site parking is a challenge but nothing much can be dine about that as it is within the old building and constrained by the existing structure.

Large rooms, great architecture, courteous staff, very tasty food. We felt very comfortable here!

Second time, beautiful hotel courtyard, nice rooms, free bottle of sparkling wine and sweets.Lovely staff.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the food and staff in the restaurant was excellent and this made our stay here special .The room was a very good size very clean and suitable for our stay . We had a bottle of fizz left in our room alongside a little treat to eat which made for a very pleasant surprise. All in all this was a very nice stay close walking distance to the centre of the town and good value for money.

The room was a little basic and the mattress would have been better with a mattress topper.I booked two rooms for ourselves and our friends, however our friends were disturbed by maintenance work which unfortunately was directly above their room.A kettle in the room would have been nice .

Exceelent service in the cafeteria. Very nice bed and bedroom. Beautiful building. A nice touch was the cava and profiterole that awaited us in the evening.

Big room and bathroom. Good WiFi. Beds comfortable. Decent value. Location near the station. Great old building (although some of the decor is pretty old school too!) Fun new year's eve dinner (although it did continue noisily until 4h00!)

Lack of luggage storage, particularly given there is plenty of space for it. Strong incense style odour in the room - needed to regularly open the windows. Breakfast cheap but underwhelming - but plenty of cafes in town. An extra bedside socket would have been welcome.

    9EminePosted on: 12-17-2024

The location is great—almost in the center. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but we had coffee only. The bed is comfortable. Overall, the stay was comfortable, nice, and easy. Last night, we found a bottle of Cava in our room, which was very nice. We thought it was a great show of excellent, higher customer service. Well done! and Thank you!

The front desk may be improved with further training. The front desk reflects the management and I found them a little bit unfriendly and slow. They can maybe smile at the customers. :)
