Good breakfast, peace and quiet

Slow and unreliable internet. No heating on the first night....

The place is beautiful, a regular hotel.

My shower was not so clean, it felt old, stained.

We had an extremely pleasurable encounter with the hotel staff. By our mistake, we ended up with car keys dumped in the canal below the car parked right in front of the hotel. The girl at the reception was super helpful, trying to help us in any way, and so did another gentleman from the hotel staff. The great people working at this hotel helped us to turn a potential nightmare situation into a pleasant stay.The hotel itself was very nice, clean and well decorated. Easy to find, a couple km's from Cadiz. The beach was within a couple minutes walking distance from the hotel.

Very nice place: close to the sea, beautiful room, very nice pools(2) perfect for a dive after a visit to Cadiz. Easy access to Cadiz by boat. If you ever wanted to live in a museum, this is the place. All walls are full of beautiful paintings. We enjoyed this a lot! Breakfast buffet contained everything we expected and more!

The staff were excellent and very accommodating. Location was great! Short walk to the beach and near the city center. Breakfast was very good!! Pool was clean and very enjoyable!

Beauiful hotel with large atrium and seating area . Helpful check in, suite was good size and opened onto balcony. Quality bedding and bathroom. Easy walk to beach and resturant.Excellent breakfast.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Helped me with my bags.Was able to leave my bags early, and put them inside the room as it was vacant.Within walking distance of the forest, beach, and beachside path.Having a kitchenette in the room, with a kettle to boil water was very useful, and the reason for choosing this hotel.Large bath with unlimited hot water. I really enjoyed having a soak in the bath!The wifi was free with good connection.

Nowhere to sit outside as there were renovations to the seating area beside the pool going on.A strange outlook from the back of the room.Unable to leave a window open at night. Had to leave the doors open at the rear of the property which I wasn't fully comfortable with.The kitchen utensils need updating. It would also be nice to have an unused sponge to wash the dishes, and a tea-towel to dry them.

Lovely hotel located in a quiet neighborhood. Good buffet breakfast. Nice restaurant nearby. Short walk to a pine forest and a promenade along the beach. We were able to park out front of the hotel.

Big studio room. Very well equipped. Nice courtyard pools. Close to the beach. Very good breakfast!

The builing was simply amazing and genuine. It took a while to get to the property as Puerto de Santa María is inmense, but it worth taking a close trail that drove me to the sea.

My bed was not made properly and it affected my sleep quality during my stay.

Room was okay, the lady receptionist okay, and the kitchen lady nice.

The gentleman receptionist looked super fed up of his job and probably tired of tourists. Second time in the area and got the same feeling, locals are tired of tourists. I would certainly not return. The breakfast has a variety of things however, the quality is beyond terrible. By far one of the worst breakfasts I've ever had in Spain.

The hotel was quite a way out of town and we had some difficulty finding it due to our sat nav. However, once we got there we were delighted with the hotel. The room was large and comfortable. The pool was just what we needed after a day of travelling and we were able to relax and enjoy the very pleasant surroundings - very near the beach and close to some beautiful pine woods. The young woman on reception was probably the most helpful person we came across on the holiday. Not only did she answer our queries she printed a voucher off that I needed and rescued us with a taxi when we got stranded at the ferry terminal. Cannot thank he or praise her enough. Sorry I didn't catch her name but she was there on reception the day we arrived.

The breakfast was great but the bar/cafe had quite limited eating opportunities and there was really only one restaurant within walking distance. A bit more choice for eating in the evening at the hotel would have been great. That doesn't detract from the overall charm of the hotel though.

Well located, easy access and parking and very clean.

Could do with some refurbishing and the breakfast quality could be improved.
