Location is good and they do have secure parking. Room/bathroom was clean. WiFi worked well.
The hotel rooms are so outdated. No USB plugs, hard to find outlets that work. Furniture is really old. Breakfast is mediocre. I stayed here last, 7 years ago and it looks the same. Your hotel can be "historical " but, it can also be modern. Definitely not a 4 star property..more like a 3 trending down to a 2
This hotel is very nice, stayed here with my son — we've enjoyed the pool, food in the restaurant and welcoming and hospital staff. This is an old building so you can observe cracks on the ceiling or somewhat old facilities in the bathroom, but overall it was all ok! There was no lunch option, so we had to order smth as in general restaurants were closed for siesta. In 2 min there is a bus stop to go to beaches, trip takes 10-15 minutes. The inner pool is nice and clean as well
The dinner was a quite late for a kid, and they've charged me for a juice which was free during the breakfast
I liked the bathroom that was it the room looked terrible, furniture was out date the walls were pink it looked terrible there was t a charging outlet on the wall next to the bed. I checked out early because it was so terrible. I would not recommend anyone to stay here for the price. I even paid for a junior suite and the room looked like horror movie out of the 90s.

The location, the building and the staff
The carpet in the rooms were not completely clean. In general the aspect was not particularly clean, there was no toilet brush and sometimes the water pipes stink.
Recycling an old monastery for accommodation makes great sense. I loved the cool, wide, corridors, marble stairs, high ceilings, and the little cloister where I sat reading one sunny afternoon.Friendly staff- and so helpful with my poor Spanish. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and conquered the toaster after only three days. Our room had a balcony, and a bath. Loved that bath.Artworks and paintings are everywhere , preserved from its past life. It would be interesting to know more about their history.
Not every guest in a monastery takes a vow of chastity; an extraordinary amount of noise travels from the bedrooms and bathrooms on either side. I booked this hotel as it has a pool, which they advertised with Booking.com as open. They should look at that. The pool was shut, even the patio around it was off-limits, so there was nowhere to relax outdoors after long walks. I know this was down to the unpredictable weather, but, coming from Northern Europe, it was gorgeous.
Comfortable bed large room
Bit worn no lift from the parking
Very helpful Reception Staff. Helped us with our every request .
The size and manoevering area for cars in the underground garage. Access for guests from garage level to reception area is via steps. No lifts available for luggage.
Charming large former monastery taking up a whole block in the centre of El Puerto with on site parking, pool and garden.
Nothing. A bit tired in parts but very charming and comfortable in a great location.
historical building, location
the rooms require commercial repairs
Location was great, very near the procession routes, easy to find. Handy garage space for our car at a good rate.Breakfast was excellent.
Maybe the bar closing at 10 was too early.
The food was amazing. Good location. Interesting interior
Street noise
Good breakfast. Plenty of space. Balcony. Parking. Nice atmosphere in communal areas. Close to railway station and plenty of restaurants
Quite difficult to find your way around inside
Mosquitos in bedroom on day 3. No mosquito coil.
The Location in the Old Town of El Puerto ist great. Good Point to explore Cadiz bei Ferry. Parking on site available for very reasonable pricing. The Building itself is really nice. The rooms are as advertised.
The Rooms could do a little makeover. And the breakfast is totally below standard.
Location was great . Hotel architecture was impressive
It needed a bit of TLC the rooms looked a bit tired.Breakfast was quite disorganised
Great location, our room had balcony and beautiful view, our friends room no balcony or view and smelled musty, aircon did not work. Bar is uninspiring cafeteria only open 1900 to 2230, can’t even get a coffee when not open, and returning back to hotel it would be nice to have a cozy bar. Hotel needs some attention. Underground parking good.
