Everything. Excellent price, terrace views, breakfast. If you can’t stay here change your dates!

Location was amazing with a fantastic view. It would be hard to find a better view for the price paid. The staff sent us very helpful information prior to our arrival.

Historic building. Spare but perfectly adequate decor. Patio and view as spectacular. Location was a bit hard to get to and parking is distant--yet I gladly trade those for the mentioned items.

Hotel was the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was basic but nice. Good value for your money. Great location. Nice view.

A very nice small hotel in the uphill of Arcos de la Frontera. The view from our room was breathtaking. The room and the bathroom are large. Good shower. They surve breakfast a la carta for dicent price.

You can't reach the hotel by car. We left ours at the free parking down the city and climbed by foot, luckily we had only carry ons. You can take a taxi though almost to the hotel.

Amazing gem in a beautiful town. The rooms were super clean and both had fantastic terraces with a lovely view. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Wish I had stayed longer!

The walls are a bit thin so there was a bit of noise from the corridor and other rooms. Everything else was satisfactory.

Everything was comfortable and spacious. Wonderful view from “room with balcony”. Good bathroom with a lovely shower and a bathroom shelf for our things. The two negatives: no wifi in the rooms or terraces, which hinders travel planning or catching up on emails, etc. And only one rack for one suitcase.

Location and overall beauty plus the attentive staff was wonderful. It was close to good restaurants and as it was early in the season not busy. We felt like although 2 stars, it was much more. Truly great place with lots of history.

Nothing went well. I am an 85 year old man and my wife is an 84 year old woman. 1.) We were informed at arrival that the elevator was inoperative and they did not have a room on the first floor. Thus we had to carry our bags up to our room #310. Had we been informed, we would have cancelled here and gone somewhere else.2.) The cold water became inoperative in the evening and we only had scalding hot water. We could not flush the toilet, wash our hands or take a shower. Had we been informed the hotel was having water problems, we would have cancelled and gone somewhere else.3.) Upon arrival we were informed that the restaurant was closed and we needed to find another place to eat. This hotel is located in a mountain area and the road are dark and curvy. Had we been informed, we would have cancelled and gone somewhere else.This hotel was completely unacceptable and we will challenge the cost with our credit card company - Capital One.

Everything

We had a lovely room with a balcony and space for table chairs, and sunbeds. The room was large and the bathroom excellent with a very good shower. The hotel is in the old town with lots of cobbled streets and places to see.

Not many of the restaurants were open but it was November so you cannot expect too much.

This is our second stay at El Convento, our favourite hotel in Arcos. We love the friendly personnel, the airy rooms and the views across the vega. The place is spotlessly clean and centrally located for excellent restaurants such as La Carcel (we have been visiting Arcos for over 20 years and this is the best!)

Beautiful vistas from our terrace. Great breakfasts. Helpful staff. Brilliant location. We would return in a heart beat.

The view from the room is magnificent

The room didn't feel very clean, when we entered the room there was dust and long hair on the floor. Also there is only one socket in the room

Location is great. Quiet road yet very central. Fantastic views from the very big private terrace. Breakfast was good. Staff were very kind.

Room was small and tired. Bathroom was cramped. WiFi was practically unusable in the room, ok in the reception area.

Great location. Friendly staff.

Difficult to access if driving.
