- This beautiful hotel is Moorish in style and is in an ideal central location. We had a wonderful stay here and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
- Location was great, staff was very friendly and welcoming. The woman working the desk the whole time we were there chatted with us, provided helpful recommendations, and gave our kids little knit Christmas ornaments from the hotel.
- Quirky old world hotel. The style was of India and the days of the Raj. The lady owner couldn't do enough and was sooooo helpful.
Cons -
- It was not as clean as I'd like (cobwebs in corners) and the bathrooms smelled bad.
- Nothing that I didn't like

Simple but lovely, stylish, great location, helpful staff. Great for the 'upmarket' budget traveller
Location was fantastic. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and were happy to let us store our bikes in a secure space. We loved bejng in such a cool historic building that was decorated to match the Moorish history of Andalucia. Highly recommend.
The accomodation is very beutiful like MAROCAN style. Room size was fine as well as the bathroom. We also book one room for 3 and taht was also very nice and big enough with regular third bed.

It’s quite unique in it’s layout and decor.. It is well run, our room was very comfortable and the service was superb.
Great! Loved this hotel. It’s got a wonderfully quirky ‘Kasbah’ decor that saved us having to travel to Tangier. The owners were sweet, kind and helpful. Beds were comfy. Best hot water pressure in Spain. And excellent location 5 minutes from the old town. The town was going crazy because Real Madrid won the UEFA final, but our street-facing room was still quiet when the window was shut (double glazing I assume).
The owner was a delight and the location was great for exploring the town and taking day trips. Parking was fantastic due to a deal the hotel has with a garage less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The room was a good size and comfortable. It is a bit shabby chic based on its age and historicalSignificance of the building/ We were on the 2nd floor (3rd in the US), which involves a lot of stairs, but the owner has a workaround with a back door on the second floor that reduces the stair climbing.
WiFi did not work.
Lovely hotel, great location, I unexpectedly stayed on Carnaval weekend....crazy place but what a great stay. It was noisy right outside the window where the carnaval was going until 4am but it still was a great place to be. Highly recommended. Amazing decor/ambience
Nada
Central location made the stay easy and a good experience. No breakfast may seem a negative but far outweighed by being up and out earlyIn a great setting.
Using the back door from a different street after hours was a bit odd.Staff was great but we saw only one person doing everythingSecurity required locking front door early but no staff visibilityafter that seemed a little odd.
Location.Room size. Staff
No light in bathroom. Decor bit dated
Hotel of character in centre of town. Decor unusual but interesting.
No facilities for breakfast. No lift. Difficult access.
the hotel is conveniently located at the entrance of the old town, nearby shops and restaurants. we liked the Moroccan inspired decor.
the bathroom was quite basic and our children’s bedroom smelt like mould even though we kept the window open all afternoon.
location and very close to municipal parking garage. also not far from historic centre
WiFi wasn’t that great. it would have been nice to have an elevator however there is a back entrance without stairs so that made it all work nicely
Great hotel; location, comfortable, impecable service by staff and the owner is a seasoned hospitality professional who knows how to promote the area and represent Andalucía… great attention to details and very personalized experience
The especially helpful desk clerk, who spoke great English and helped with cell phones.
The owner of the hotel is simply amazing.I forgot one night an important thing at the hotel and to give me an help he got in my room, found the item and organized a taxi transportation to downtown Jerez!Simply great. Thanks very much indeed.
Very little to like. A most horrible place to stay. Cold room, no hot water, exstream noise across the street all night long. I requested a refund on the second night, it was refused, and I left anyway. Would not stay the second night.
A horrible place to stay. Cold room inadiquit heat and no controller for the tiny radiator. No hot water, very noisy bar across the street. I woke up numerous times through the night from noise both inside and outside the hotel.
The location was terrific and the owner/proprietor was extremely accommodating. I'm pretty sure we were the only people staying in the hotel at the time, so he had to come let us in, which he did at about an hour before we said we would arrive (in the middle of a rainstorm). The building is awesome, super old and historic. The bed(s) were super comfortable (it was 2 twins pushed together to make a king, so a bit of a lump in the middle). The location was great, just a 5 minute walk from the old city and right around a bunch of restaurants and shops. The owner gave a recommendation for a nearby restaurant and it was one of the best meals we've had in all of Spain. There's a large parking garage nearby (100m) that the hotel gets a discount for (10 Euro per day) that was easy to access and maneuver.
The pillows were a bit firm/tall for my taste, and there was no extra roll of toilet paper in the room. Everything else was excellent!
