to tell the truth the only thing i like it is inside liwa that's it

we didnt use anything and the value of money for two rooms were very expansive for one night and we didnt have anything complimentary or anything

? Liwa Hotel is a wonderful place for a relaxing stay. The rooms are very comfortable, the atmosphere is calm, and the staff are welcoming and professional. Special thanks to (Redoy) for the great service and kindness – you made my stay extra pleasant. I will definitely come back again!

The location is good near to all the government offices, price is also affordable

We couldn’t sleep at night because of the sounds of the insects/pugs ?? but overall it was a good experience

Rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel has a nice vibe going.

Breakfast wasn't worth the price paid, limited options. Swimming pools could've been made better by adding more activities

This can be called a real profession of hospitality by itself. Not only very nice, but also very highly qualified stuff (especially Mr. Redoy). Very clean rooms and common areas as well. Interiors furnished with a realy good taste with high quality equipement. Finally the food fulfilled all the expectations with a high variety. The hotel has a very good access to the road taking you to the Moreeb Dune and the desert in general, but in the same time is localized on a very nice hill a descent distanse from the main road so it is quiet and you're not disturbed by cars.

The refit of the rooms are great - the rest of the experience is awful. There are limited staff who are poorly trained. The pool and surrounds are awful. Really disappointing.

Architecture

Gardens not well kept. Buildings around the garden are dilapidated. No umbrellas by the pool. Staff’s English not up to par. Food average. Some items on the menu not available.

Beautiful quiet location with lovely views of the surrounding area Renovations attended during the C-19 pandemic have really improved the interior feel.The peace and serenity was really appreciated! And the weather arrangements were perfect ?

A power point in the bathroom for the hair dryer etc would be great The areas outside need a LOT of work: so many barren areas, broken footpaths and mimi sand dunes insides the grounds! I can appreciate this will take significant time and funds to complete My friend suggested some comfy sofas and coffee type tables near the pool areaWe didn’t eat in the restaurant as the prices were quite exorbitant

The renovation is amazing, the rooms are bigger and more comfortable.

Breakfast quality was not 5 star. Paper napkins processed and frozen food used. Fruits were soggy.

Very comfortable hotel for a short stay in Liwa. Pleasant outdoor area, although they should open more the view to the dunes instead of trying to conceal them. Proximity to Liwa and Tal Moreeb is great for a weekend getaway and to explore the region.The interior design of the reception and restaurant area is particularly pleasant.

Parking is a little chaotic at present. All the locals try to park in front of the drop off, and even the hotel staff invite you to park there. They should just make everyone use the parking lot and have valet.The rooms feature a very nice tub but there is not enough hot water provision to fill it! Very disappointing. Restaurant should have a little more to offer... menu seemed limited.We visited during LIWA Village Festival and prices were 3x what they should be for this type of hotel.Also minor point but some guests get dates and tea on arrival from the long trip to Liwa, some don't get it. Either give it to everyone or remove it.

Good but need to get more training for the staff how to do customer service.

The staff needs a proper handover communication. The receptionist we spoke during our check in gave us a discounted price for additional people we will bring in for breakfast buffet. During the morning, the staff wasn’t aware and didn’t even let our team took the breakfast even they told them they will pay. We told them we will pay and the receptionist keep bothering us for the payment while we are eating. We told them can we do this after our food? And it seems he can’t understand.

Room are good size and nice

Poor management and staff. BF to pay extra, no coffee machine in room, despite asking for a quiet room, they allocated next to the bar entry. Several times had to step outside at night because being very loud. BF very basic and cappuccino not included in BF price? 2nd day they run out of milk and we were the first guest. In essence-very poorly managed hotel with not qualified staff nor management. For 500$/night no value for money! Stay away!

Food was awful, 150 dhs for a "buffet" much of which was pretty poor standard.

I have booked this hotel with more than a month in advance to make sure everything would be perfect to celebrate our wedding anniversary with my husband and our 1 yr old girl. After 5 hours driving from home we arrived at the hotel and they told us they were fully booked and they had to cancel our booking because of a group coming to the hotel instead. They have also told us that they had informed booking.com about the cancellation but we were never informed about it.Regardless booking.com’s bad customer service, I found it extremely upsetting and disappointing the lack of ethics from the hotel, by cancelling a reservation done with so much time in advance, just to accommodate a group and get more money.The staff seeing me tired and my baby even more tired, recommended another hotel in Abu Dhabi describing it as an amazing option. Well, it was not. I ended up paying more for that than what I was supposed to pay for the initial reservation at Liwa hotel.I dont think this is how we should do business and treat the customers (or potential customers). My husband was so upset that we will never booked Liwa hotel again.

I really liked the style, location and ambiente of the hotel in Liwa. It is a truly magical place!

No kitchen in roomCost of dining is very high and more than room cost. Anyone want to book I recommend to bring your food with you. Or eat from town center. Or bring your stuff and enjoy cooking in room.

We LOVED this hotel. The hotel room is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect. We even saw camels feeding in the desert next to the hotel in the morning. We used the pool as well and it was refreshing. The food at the restaurant was pretty good too. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and would stay here again.

The staff was so friendly. It's really a bit of a hotel in the middle of nowhere, but very comfortable and clean and actually relaxing being so far from urban noise and crowds.

the breakfast was a little limited by UAE standards.
