Nothing at all

Smelt of mildew, dirty, cluttered, no signage. Told owner plane late when arrived says couldn’t find keys as thought we weren’t coming. Dogs and people loud all night. Absolutely nothing like photos must have been taken 20 years ago

Our 7 people group stayed in Apia Inn for 14 nights. Jan is a very very nice landlady, she always responds our request timely, trying to make our stay pleasantly. The room doesn't have enough spaces, while the bed is comfortable.

The only issue is lack of warm shower(even we took a bath at the hottest hour of a day, the water is still cooler than we could accept)....We ever went to another hotel intentially to have a warm shower.

The location was excellent, close to everything and where we wanted to go. Very close to the city.

A good start of our holiday it was very welcoming with a beautiful air-conditioned work very well and cold.. the room was clean, but as it's still needs to finished its renovation otherwise I'm very satisfied with our stay.

Ok, however not sure of going back, just wasn't inviting or informative etc

when we arrived there was no sign to say that was the place. It was very dark and we opened a door yelling out to someone. we werent sure even if it was someones house.eventually someone came down from upstairs and just said my name then gave the key then left.the room is okay, very small however had its own bathroom and small tv.the aircon was on and was making a noise every what seemed like 2 mins.in the end I called the number, and he was very helpful and sorted it. However it wasnt cold air it was warm air coming out. we mainly used the fan that was above the bed.Also there were a few dogs which when we arrived were outside and during the early hours the dogs were barking growling and making alot of noise. I called them again and asked if they were their dogs? as they were very noisy. It didnt help that my partner was unwell and I needed him to not be disturbed. Also I couldnt get comfortable and go back to sleep. The staff member came down and shooed the dogs away, which was very helpful and it all settled after that.Over all it was ok, however could be better

Samoa is a beautiful place, however the Apia INN was not what was advertised

The rooms were not what we thought they would be. The beds take up the entire room. The fridges did not work in any of our three rooms. We stayed for two weeks, and we only received clean towels once. Our room was only cleaned once. We took our garbage out daily. We got blocked in, and this was problematic for most of the stay. There were several dogs that bark all night. Don’t expect any hot water because there isn’t any. The water kettle provided did not work. Also be advised that you will be expected to pay cash.

The bed was clean and comfortable, and it was mostly quiet at night. The AC worked well.

The room was dirty. There was no place to put things. No hangars in wardrobe. It was, however relatively inexpensive. The shower was just a pipe with cold water, which worked ok, once we got used to it.

Nightmare

Everything. Poor service. Not responsive to refubd query. Owner hid at the back when went to talk about my canceled booking. Asked for payment upfront but never care to follow through with refund request.Warning: Do not book here and never prepay your stay because the owner is a crook!

We only stayed one night before we left and didn’t spend a lot of time there

Bit more run down than expected. Would only accept cash in payment. No towels when we arrived but that got sorted. No tea making facilities. No hot water. No soap.

Fridge didn't work.No rubbish bin.No hot water.No cups, except ones already in the drying rack in kitchen.Property not presented very well like dishes left in drying rack, not all beds made up. Curtains didn't fit the window so a lot of light came in but also no privacy in that room. Hard to fall asleep when people past can see straight in. Quite creepy Had workers/family onsite until very late who were loud and disruptive when trying to get kids to sleep.Dogs barking and fighting throughout the night.Cracks in window with no netting so mosquitos came in.

The location was perfect. Close to the store and the town.

I had a rat climb up my bed that made us uncomfortable the whole night. I had to keep the light on the whole night.Late response of Service.

I like the friendship from the owner and I am not recommended to any family to stay there if you have kids travelling with you. But I appreciate the place coz I was book late. Faafetai

The place was nice and close to the town, services was very good and friendly all the time, it feels like home .

There were lots of dogs around, they parking most of the night always wakes me up. Will be nice to have a room services at least once a day.

Cold shower which unfortunately is common in Samoa

The location is close to town if you have a car. Although it was hard to find the place because there is no signage on the street front. The room has aircon which was nice.

Where should I start?! - Avoid to stay at this place!Day one of my Samoa trip. I arrived the place, the owner came and straight away asking $150 Tala (one night) in cash from me to pay for the accommodation. I said I just arrived and had very limited cash right now and I would go to town at night to cash out for her. She said she couldn't wait because she's going out. I gave her the only cash I had on me before I checked out my room and she disappeared since! - Mistake # one!I like to have space, I paid more to book a Deluxe triple room supposedly to have one double and one single bed with 45 square metres space as described online. I was put in a very small room roughly 9 sqm with no mirror in the entire room and bathroom, broken TV, no hot water jug, cup, glass or tea/coffee. I was given a soap bar which was all it had in the bathroom. Literally none of the room facilities listed online was available in the room! Very dirty shower and vanity with dripping water from the tabs when you turn it on. Even more ridiculous, I opened up the vanity cabinet, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for centuries, and with a used sanitary pad in it! I guess that's because there is no rubbish bin in the bathroom. called the owner stating the wrong room was given to me. She said that's all she had and she could give me a partial refund in the morning when I check out. - I started to doubt what I got myself into but believed in her................ Mistake # twoFree Wi-Fi was listed on the booking site, I called asking for the info. She gave me a password and couldn't tell me the name of the Wi-Fi and said: "you'll found it." I did not find any Wi-Fi available at all and she was not picking up the phone again. I gave up and decided to not let that ruin my holiday.The next morning, I called her and texted her many times to arrange for check out and the partial refund of room. She totally vanished!!

Owner was friendly and more than accommodating. Taxi driver told us small shop with essentials few yards away.

No sign out front of property so hard to find.Had to ask for tea/coffee/hot water. No breakfast. Room was on street side so very noisy traffic. Loose dogs barked outside our window a lot during the night. Need a car or taxi to get to town.

The water was very weak. I could barely take a shower or wash my face. You’d have to take 1 hour shower to be covered fully in water

The owner was very nice.

Needed to pay in cash as the property does not accept card payment on the spot. Need to inform visitors in advance.

Communication with onsite manager was good and easy. She was quick to respond with requests.

I made a booking online (booking.com) for that same evening and received confirmation emails etc. however, when I contacted the accommodation the female on-site manager and gave her my booking references, she stated the rooms were fully booked and that she doesn’t know why the online website was still able to let me make the booking. At the same time she was unsure about if there were any free room or not and said she will call me back. She contacted me after a few minutes and said she had rooms available.Fast forward, the rooms had no toilet paper so had to message her, no soap or any hygiene items in bathroom, no wifi info until I messaged her, not enough blankets and towels for the guests. Toilet were being brought one at a time whenever you texted manager. We had three full grown adults in the room. The place appeared to be run down. Other quests were very loud. Struggled to sleep. Noise control was not managed well. I’m saying this, if you’re just looking for a hard and fast place to stay, this will be fine.

FriendlyEase to taxi

There was no breakfast apart from tea / coffee, there was no window or small lamp - only very white main light. No bell at reception.No street sign to alert new comers are at the correct address.

Loved the customer service , the willingness to go out of their way to accommodate us . Will definitely be coming backLovely natured dogs at our door stepp loved it ❤️
