Pros +
- Unique experience for a first timer in a cave hotel. It's a bit isolated but this comes with the nature of the place. It's relaxing, though. You can order food from a place downtown and the staff serves it to you in the restaurant (but it's rather overpriced mind you). They are quite nice and helpful.
- Staying at a cave hotel is a unique experience
- The hotel itself and sleep in a cave!
Cons -
- The rooms are rather small and the pool was too cold. If you advertise with an indoor pool, I would expect the water to be heated, instead it was outside temperature (and April is not the best month for an outdoor swim).
- Staff overcharges for the activities.Online it is one fourth rate.Food is super expensive and you have no option to go outside. Veg food only lentil soup and plain rice is available. There were black ants on the bed so I could not sleep at night. Overall not a good experience.
- The wifi in the room was not working, people were not speaking well English so it could be difficult sometimes to communicate. Overall it was okay but it was a bit deceiving, difficult to go to the center.. etc.

Authentic cave house experience. Amazing breakfast.
The washroom could have been cleaner. I understand it's a cave house still ceiling can be scrubbed out with sand paper. The room was dusty because of the stones which triggered my dust allergy.
Well location, nice decoration with care, good original breakfast, more than nice and helpful staff
Our stay at this cave house in Cappadocia was truly special. We really enjoyed the unique atmosphere and the way the hotel was built into the caves – it created such a peaceful and memorable setting. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, treating us with so much care and attention that we felt like close friends. We had a great time and would happily come back.
Great. Cute cat. Great people. Personal touch
Location- far away from town. However, the hotel manager gave me a free ride to town
The breakfast was late and we were unable to participate. We liked the environment, art decor, and the quiet tranquility of the cave.
More head room, earlier breakfast, vacant caves cleaned/developed.
The staff, the nevsehir tava, (food), the decor and the helpfulness.
Stairs!
The stuff were incredible!! We felt like we had personal assistants, always taking care of our needs and making sure we have the best experience. Mustafa and Shami were the best hosts we have ever had. They were attentive, funny, easy to talk to, kind and always helpful. The food, the service, and the decoration were amazing !!!! The beds were very comfortable. It's a very charming place. There are many stairs so maybe you want to keep that in mind , but for us it was just fine, it was our daily workout :)They helped us book all the trips and activities, they always helped us calling taxis even When we were not in the hotel, they arranged transportation back to the airport, and they are building and adding more things to the hotel !! We are definitely comming back.
We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived at Nar Cave House. Every member of staff was friendly and chatty and gave us advice to help make the most of our stay. The hotel offer a free shuttle service into Nevsehir once a day and you can then catch local buses to other areas. The hotel itself is wonderful, and we enjoyed spending time in the bar/restaurant in the evenings. Breakfast and evening meals were delicious. The staff really could not have been more helpful.
We stayed in the room with private pool which was our reason for staying here and it was a wonderful experience. However, the room was so hot and humid from the pool it was hard to sleep even though they supply two large fans in the room. We stayed 2 nights and our room wasn't serviced in that time. We were omly given 2 teabags and 2 paper cups in the room so we had to request coffee and more cups each day as the room wasn't serviced. Proper cups would have been much nicer. The location was not what we had expected. It is in a small village with nothing around. Would be more suited if you had a car, which we didn't.
The room and environment are clean and people who work there are friendly. Thank you Mustafa.
Staff (Murad and others) was extremely helpful providing necessary details about near by attractions in the town. The owner/manager was also friendly and takes care of each guest.
Mainly location - it was bit far from Goreme (which is main town for all attractions, near by) - We had to book taxi each time to go out and visit places which costed around 20 Euros (550/600 Lira per trip)
Shirin was a great host, excellent breakfast and super friendly staff
The stay itself is amazing, with great ambience, a really vibey swimming pool, jacuzzi, rooftop, etc.
The property overcharges for facilities that are basic. 200 liras to replace toilet paper in the room etc. The staff was not helpful. They are rude and withhold information so that they can overcharge us.
Nice place , nicely built up cave house with modern facilities. Very nice Cosy room. Food specially bfast was very gu. The stuff are friendly helpful.
Go up and down stairs
location and amenities were great. my number one issue was that the pool was cold, yes it was wintertime but it would have been nice to use a heated pool, if they did this i would be back many times. the breakfast was amazing, the staff was top notch, highly recommended.
the cold pool.
Fabulous staff!! Well spoken English great humours. Good service throughout. Helped us with our luggages up and down the steep steps to our rooms. The rooms lightnings need improvement only one/two switches control entire cave room. Our room has jacuzzi tub, working but jet not strong. The indoor swimming pool water too cold we did not get to try. Breakfast is plentiful of turkish dishes, tea and coffee.
We booked an optional tour (Green Tour) with hotel at €60 each, we have 4 persons. The tour program included Salime Monastery which is the place we like to visit and did not want to drive even we have a car but was very disappointed the tour did not cover this attraction. The tour took us to many shopping stops to jewelleries, turkish desserts/delights, etc...and lunch venue was far and meal was plain (you paid extra for the drinks, desserts, etc). We suggest to rent a car and drive to see attractions compared to mini van tour.
Property is in a secluded place. So would recommend renting a car for accommodation or carry a lot of money so you don’t have to go to atm.
Everything was exceptional. Staff were lovely and helpful. Would recommend it.
We recommend booking.com and familyMembers not to book such third class hotel. We requested for early check in even the rooms were available but cleaning were not done moreover service very third class. It is also located on the 3rd floor which you have go by steps. No proper management. Booking.com should blacklist such hotels.
Service, management, breakfast and all service third class
