The hotel was empty as it is not season time and we could enjoy all the facilities in peace. The hotel itself is very outstanding, it looks luxury and chic. The rooms are very clean and tidy, the bed is very large and very comfortable. The service is excellent. The staff is friendly. The woman at the desk named Nilüfer is very patient and nice. The breakfast was very good and different type of various food. Jacuzzi in the room is very spacious, clean and luxurious. The room delivery is very fast. Overall we had a good experience.

The location is far from all the activities and sights. You need a car to get to them, 15-20min away. The water in the swimming pool was only 26 degrees, would be nicer if it was a little warmer. Sauna and hamam are for extra payment and a little expensive in my opinion.

The hotel itself is very comfortable and the rooms are great. The restaurant local dishes were delicious and staff was always available. Staff was very responsive to requests and helped with booking local tours, especially Firdes. Whole staff team was great, Nilufer, hazel and Mohamed. The hotel is 30 minutes from Goreme and we liked the quiet and peace of the location with easy access to tours and busy Goreme center. We stayed in the cave room which was very unique but then changed to room upstairs which I preferred, you can see old buildings and way of life is very interesting. Good place to tour and also relax.

    Location, decor, comfort

Not a very clean bathroom, have to buy own adapter for charging phones, very limited choices for breakfast, cold scrambled eggs, have to ask for coffee, cold response when asked for a second cup

    Room was great. Nice breakfast.

    Cold swimming pool

    8MaryPosted on: 10-9-2024

The hotel is great and spa is absolutely amaizng.

Make sure to double check the location - it’s really out of the way if you want to do tours and sightseeing and hard to get around unless you are renting a car. Most tour companies that had hotel transfer included in the price of their tour will not prick up from there.

The cave room is nice, but not very clean. I like the fireplace, also you must have a car because you cannot get anywhere without it.

They charge for a cappuccino at breakfast, even if you paid for breakfast. The breakfast overall is very disappointing, there is no porridge, no yogurts, no sausages, etc. You can expect a lot of grass (literally a lot of unrecognizable grass), 1 kind of local sausage made from paper, a few eggs, and tasteless fruits which are very surprising to me because there are a lot of fresh fruits in Turkey everywhere. And of course, a lot of bread which serves as a main dish as I understand :). One of the waiters at the breakfast was very impatient and rude, and he seemed very tired of guests and his job.

There was a wonderful manager at reception, I think his name was Ahmet he was the most helpful and connected us with an amazing driver who looked after us with sightseeing and recommendations to restaurants. The hotel itself is quite palatial and the spa treatment was also fantastic and great value for money and our bedroom was lovely and spacious.

The hotel could improve with recommendations to restaurants and local sites.

Great rooms never had to leave the building. Pool and sauna inside room and spa and massage just 20 meter walk away ?. Definitely will be back.

The only little things could improve on is1. The app for in room dining wasn't working during stay but didn't really matter to me anyway.

    8CarolaPosted on: 8-29-2024

The cave rooms were an amazing experience. Each room had a different character and it was definately a once in a lifetime experience.

No windows (of course we are underground in a cave), meant the air always felt slightly damp.

The hotel has lots of great amenities and a lovely restaurant as well.Nilüfer was lovely and walked me through all the facilities and even helped to arrange things like activities and taxis to Goreme - in this regard everything functioned effortlessly. The staff must all be commended on their professionalism and dedication to their work and making everyone's stay excellent and carefree. There's a massive feast available for breakfast as well so there's something for everyone.

The only real problem I had was the location. If you are driving or open to taking taxis this isn't really an issue but it's something to keep in mind. The drive to downtown Goreme is around 30 minutes but the hotel can arrange taxis for you and they're really on top of it.

    6IvorPosted on: 8-24-2024

The hotel and bedroom were very nice.

The service at reception wasn't very friendly. But above all the location is not to be recommended. The hotel is a 20 minute taxi ride from the centre of Goreme and next to a busy and noisy road.

    10ArtemPosted on: 8-12-2024

I think that was the best hotel if you wanna meet Kapadokya! All good reviews is true) Wanna tell thanks for support on all stages to manager Nilüfer and manager Zeynep! They are professionals :)

I liked the design of the cave rooms.

The smell was so bad in the rooms, it was clor smell, they put so much clor in the closed swimming pool so the clor smell was inside the rooms and we didn't sleep also our eyes burned because of that, we changed our room to the second floor because of the clor smells, otherwise everything was good.

The decor The room was large and spacious The view across from the hotel It’s quiet

The location it’s very far from everything. I struggled to book excursions. The hotel bus is not regular was not sure when it would available. The restaurant was not the best in terms of food The spa facilities could be better Very expensive and not value for money

    8LizandraPosted on: 7-30-2024

-room, hotel, restaurant, spa place decoration breathtaking beautiful-panorama really nice-pool outside with nice view also-profi and friendly massage with a lot of type of massages/packets, cheap prices-programmbooking possibility (really fast,professionall)-pancake (the idea to cook there is unique)-hygiene

-its far away from other facultative programm places/pick up places, and i didnt know that many company wouldnt want to organize pickup with us, or its more expensive cause of the distance.-breakfast was good, but not so variable. (Dessert just one type.)-nobody uses spa pool(?), and at that area also ive just feeled like that area is a decoration there the whole time, and not for using.-i missed pool umbrella and towels or at least i didnt find.

The staff & the facilities were out of this world. When I walked in I was convinced, this place is so magical it has no match. The details of the stone work, to the cave rooms, the pools and the jacuzzis in each bathroom. Then also the garden and the spa. It was mind-blowing on every level. I would give this hotel 6 stars.Huge thanks to all my favourite peeps who made our stay really special. From Ahmet, Firdes, Nüsret, Zeynep, Fahim and all the others at the reception to the Devy & the spa staff, to the awesome cleaning crew and not to forget the extraordinary bar & restaurant folks.Everyone, as special as the owner. Tesekkurler Hajibaba, we will always remember you guys! Good luck with the next location. We'll be back as soon as we can!

The hot air balloon companies are a little arbitrary, but that isn't the hotels fault. They're just the ones in between. That being said we always felt taken care of with so much generosity.
