- Internet was really really bad. At any place of the hotel.Bath water was very hot and as soon as you would try to make it less hot the pressure dropped down to zero. It was therefore impossible to wash ourselves.
- Bathrooms have no vent or fan — please upgrade. Also hairdryer needs upgrading. Because it didn’t work I had to go to local salon to get a wash & dry.Even at a budget hotel like this, staff needs to have basic customer service training. I could give a million examples. Please upgrade your staff to provide a more welcoming and peaceful environment. As a hotel geared to tourists, it would be wise for the staff (not just reception) to learn at least some useful phrases in other languages.Besides that, some examples of what we experienced: It’s not pleasant to jump over huge bags of trash directly blocking the staircase leading to our room, have the floor mopped right under our feet with buckets of water while eating breakfast, our keys being deactivated multiple times for no apparent reason, being woken up from resting by cleaners fighting loudly with each other, slamming things, and smoking on the hallway (daily!), etc.. I’m not the type to complain, but please do better. It gives the Kapadokya area a bad name to see this low standard of service.

Nice hotel 15min drive from the cave hotels and the hot air baloon. we preferred it as it was away from all the husselwe had a family room which was big. Bfast was goodstaff especially Mustafa was amazing. Highly recommended especially with kids as you have 2 pools in door and outdoor and lots of open area
Too many stairs
The hotel is on the outskirts of the city, close to all the sights of Cappadocia. The hotel has its own parking lot. Breakfast was good.
We had an inconvenience with the hotel staff. The offer stated that it is not necessary to pay for the hotel in advance, and we additionally asked to pay in cash when we are at the hotel. Behind our backs, during our stay, the hotel staff, without consulting us, charged our three nights with a credit card, they used the data stored in the Buking.com database. We did not complain to Booking.com because we have a bad experience that even though we have Genius level 3 status, they almost never protect us in disputed situations.
The location was a perfect launching point for visiting anywhere in the region. The pools were clean. Everything was simple but tidy. Breakfast was adequate. Free parking!
The bathroom always seemed to be wet. The floor or sink counter. The indoor pool and gym didn’t open until 4pm which was perplexing. The breakfast was the same every morning. The internet was spotty.
Pool and service
Bath in the room was leaking and room was very hot compared to the rest of the rooms. Also if they can arrange possibility pay by card the extra tours that would make things easier.
I liked the most the human centered interaction with the hotel manager responding fast to our questions. And once there, proposing us good plans
The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff very nice and friendly even the ones that did not speak English very well. They had a nice selection for Breakfast. The room was spacious, with minibar and Coffee/Tea making facilities and the shower was excellent. They even let me check out at 3pm without any extra charge. The wifi in the hotel was great. It was all I could wish for and the price for the stay was amazing. Thank Monark Hotel, I will highly recommend you to my friends and colleagues.
