    Pros +

    • It is big and the rooms are spacious the balcony is big and the breakfast was tastyy and there was a variety of food to choose from .The ladies at the SPA were very professional and friendly.
    • Everything about this hotel was incredible. So much space, so clean, stunning surroundings, wonderful pools and a perfect mix of 3 beaches (calm/shallow/quiet vs busier/lively but still calm vs deeper and waves). The buffet restaurant food for breakfast and dinner was probably the best we've ever had. Treatments at the spa were amazing. It was all family friendly, but with so much space it never felt overrun with children. We stayed with a 6 month old and were made to feel very welcome.
    • The toddlers swimming pools

    Cons -

    • There was a leakage in my sister’s room and it took them two days to fix it. And the room doesn't have enough light
    • The only thing that would have been better is being able to stay longer!
    • Some of the areas were closed (theatre, cafenion, cafe)

The size of location and the ease of accessing both beaches and the pools.

Some of the bars and restaurants were not open.

Beautiful property with lovely facilities. Two beautiful swimming pools and beautiful big well maintained grounds. We had the most beautiful sea view and large balcony to enjoy

The bathrooms are a bit small and need an updateWiFi was not very good

Friendly helpful staff, plenty of space and sun beds around the pool plus separate and quieter adults only pool, lovely sandy beach, crystal clear water, excellent and plentiful food choice, super clean.

Bedroom did not have a dressing table or full length mirror, no tea and coffee making facilities, we took a travel kettle and own products. Right decision though to stay in renovated room by main reception. Mark up on a bottle of wine was crazy. Took far too long to order drinks at dinner. Daily lack of hot water in shower also a problem, only had two hot showers in a week.

This is our second stay at Kalimera Kriti and we had an equally brilliant time. The refurbished bedrooms are beautiful and we loved the sea view from our room. The biggest pool is immense and right next to the sea. We walked into Sisi every day, which is a beautiful little fishing village, and hired a car for a few days to explore the neighbouring towns and the mountains. We got lucky with the weather, end of Oct and 26/27 degrees every day. It's the last week of the season there, so it was quiet - the perfect time to go if you don't like crowds. We did Yoga there, played table tennis, aqua aerobics, had a spa treatment. The food is delicious too.

Our first room was a bit smelly, after a few days I told reception and they immediately moved us to a beautiful new room overlooking the sea. We were very happy with how they resolved the situation. Nothing other than this.

    Staff all very polite.

Floors were dirty in room. They were vacuumed but never mopped so were dusty underfoot. A/c not powerful enough to cool room. No urinals on site. Poorly cats lying around in need of care. Went to get towels at 9:41 was told to come back even though staff and towels were there. Bathroom dated and hand held shower only. Never is this place 5 star. A good 3 stars.

The staff is amazing, extremely polite and friendly. Other hotels should take seminars from Kalimera Kriti staff on how to treat guests. The meals were also excellent and of high quality ingredients. The facilities of the hotel are amazing. The gardens, the pools, the beach, the restaurants are all very accommodating. Definitely one of the best resorts in Crete.

The pool and the beach are very nice and clean

No air conditioning in one of the rooms it was incredibly hot and we got a fan only the kids were so sick because of the heat, we paid for a 4 person family suite but my son had a cot bed too small for him, this is not a 4.5 star hotel. No water during the meals you have to pay 3 euros for water. No coffee for lunch or supper, you ah r to pay for it. No wifi in the rooms and on most locations on the resort.

Amazing staff (thanks Dolphina and Marina for your smiles), very good food

Quality of family apartaments are max of 2-3 stars hotel. Towels 10 years old…etc.

The staff was very niceThe adult pool was relaxing and quiteThe private beach was incredible

The food at dinner could have been betterThe lunch menu was a bit pricy

    9SebastianPosted on: 8-31-2022

The location is lovely and the beach is in a golf with clean water where you can do snorkelling

The old buildings are not renovated

    9VitorPosted on: 8-16-2022

    Location.

Serving times for beverages at the restaurant was too long, sometimes around 1 hour. The drinks would arrive after the meal was over.

    10SonaPosted on: 8-16-2022

Everything was perfect! I recommend this hotel especially for vacation with kids (of any age). All members of the family can find what to do, several pools, 3 beaches, entertainment program every evening, and this is not all :)

    4GeorgePosted on: 8-7-2022

the food was ok and excellent stuff actually heroes ..

it needs maintenance and upgrade , no room service , old and uncomfortable furniture etc…

    9ElizaPosted on: 8-6-2022

Perfect location if you want a beach holiday. Beautiful privat beaches with good facilities. Nice big pool. Great staff, very friendly and helpfull. The place is super big and just georgeous, the buildings, the gardens, the fruit and olive trees. Every day walking back to our bungalow was great, very traditional, not modern build (roads, bungalows). Rooms are big. Nice evening entertainment. Food of good quality, better then other resorts I have been to in Crete, fresh, plenty of choice. Super view of sea while having dinner.

Beds were good, not great, matrass on soft side for me. 2x cold water in shower. The resort is so big, your bungalow can be 10 min walk from main building/pools etc. If you forget something in your room it can be annoying, otherwise not, because the scenery is beautiful. Paying for water at dinner. If you pay for breakfast or dinner in a hotel basic drinks should be included that is the case with breakfast, not with dinner.

Staff: Reception - Maria was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and one of 3 staff who smiled & maintained eye contact on the entire resort. She made me feel welcome.Restaurant: Food was not badLocation: The beach has a spectacular sunset and shallow enough water to swim in with soft white sands.Location: The Greek architecture made for some good photos

Location: Our room was on the edge of the village.Facilities: Non functional WiFi (Maria resolved that by providing a working modem).Facilities: Outdated tv (programs in German and Greek)Staff: Bellboy did offer a lift to/from reception as he drove by me walking in the midday sun to/from reception.Facilities: Beach chairs and umbrellas are insufficient for the number of guests.Restaurant: 99% Tables are catered for large families as there's literally just 5 tables for couples.Restaurant: Although the food was payed for, berverages start from €3

    * The stuff is very pleasant and helpful.* The hotel design is simply amazing.* Maintenance is very good, everything is very clean.* There are many beautiful pools in the hotel, including one indoor, and an amazing and well equipped beach with clear quiet water.* There are many sport fields that can be used, including the equipment - Football, Tennis, Table Tennis, Mini Golf.* There are some nice activities for children as playhouse and kids pool.* The breakfast and dinner were very versatile and delicious.

    * There was no equipment for coffee making in the room, or any type of kitchen, besides the refrigerator.* The hotel location is outside of the village (~20 minutes of walking) which is not so bad, but makes going out a little more difficult.* In dinner in order to drink water we had to buy a closed bottle each time, which is a little weird. In addition, there was no coffee availability in dinner. In general there was no place for free coffee making in the hotel.I just want to say, all of those negative stuff are pretty much nothing in comparison to how much we enjoyed staying there!
