Hotel was so clean, quiet Place and very safe, close to the sea

Everything was perfect

I had a truly wonderful stay at Leonidas The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy my time here. The location is excellent — perfectly situated to explore the area, with everything I needed close by,Shops , rent a car just 5 min away and 10 to 15 minutes to the beach A special mention goes to the director, who was extremely professional and made sure everything ran smoothly during my stay. You can really feel the care and attention to detail in the way the hotel is managed.I highly recommend this place and would happily come back again!Irina

It is nice that it has a pool but the picture of the pool on booking is way over the top. It's a regular pool fairly clean.

I made the booking for 3 people and the standard option was a ground floor room. It sounded nice having a kid it's always easier to be on ground level. In reality though the room is not groind floor as advertised on booking.com but basement. In order to get to the "ground floor" rooms, you have to go down steps (pictures attached). The staff was verry rude saying that I selected ground floor and this is the room. Neither did I select it (it was the default version for 3 or more people) nor it was ground floor. So we were stuck with basement room. Being just that, it is moist and not well ventilated. The good side- it's not that warm.Utilities - here I've seen the oldest utilities I've seen in ages. Pictures attachedLocation - close to the middle of no where. If you have a car it can be fine. If not, you have to walk in the desolated and dirty neighboorhood on a street without a side walk - none, not even a centimetre . Every time a car comes, you have to stop and let them go by. The sun does not help this experience either.

The swimming pool is fantastic..like an oasis.. Beautiful palm trees and garden is very well looked after. Rooms are cleaned every day. Very fresh and clean..you can keep towels if you like. Beds are comfortable, mattresses are better quality than you find in a lot of accommodation in Kos. Always a warm welcome when you arrive back. I loved this place and would definitely recommend it. It is very quiet at night,perfect for a good rest and sleep.

Read the positives first..The air conditioning in the rooms needs updating. Takes a while for the room to cool down when you arrive back .Some of the mattresses need replacing .The sun loungers need upgrading.They are OK though..Still usable. It is a 15 min walk into Kos town, but it is an interesting walk with lots of bars,restaurants, and shops lining the streets. A long way from the centre if you have any mobility issues. This place is fantastic. The owner just needs to upgrade some equipment.

Great location 10 minutes walk from beautiful sandy beaches.The surrounding ofapartment was quiet, room is clean and tidy, has everything you need.There is a also nice pool in front where you can rest and catch some sun.

Swimming pool

During the room reservation PAY ATTENTION if you maybe got semi-basement room (I can't call it apartment, since it is not). We didn't know anything about that, before arrival, but when we saw the accommodation, we complained. Employee showed us the paragraph in the reservation, written with the smallest font. Wife tried to change the room, but apparently, hotel was full. If we knew that we will be underground, we would never booked.In the room, you could taste the moisture. Room didn't have the Sun, since it was 1m below the ground level. Outside of the room, you felt like in the open bunker - don't see anything, surrounded with concrete. We couldn't ventilate the room, since there were no mosquito net, but there were plenty of mosquitos. Even through room was cleaned every day, towels were not changed in 5 days when we left (was written that they will be changed every 3 days). As per real room condition, I would say that pictures on booking are 10 years old. Entrance door look like from 19th century, like barn door.

The pool area was nice and big with lots of sunbeds and umbrellas which was good. Overall the hotel was nice and quiet and perfect for couples and families. We rented biked from down the road but you can rent them from reception for €5 a day, good cycle paths but not for the faint hearted with lots of people around. There was a lovely taverna down the road called Sunset Taverna if you want to go local and not cycle into town.

The aircon was ... 'ancient', at first it wouldn't work and took a few times turning it on and off. There was a powercut on the first night causing all aircon and lights to turn off, with no backup generator from what we could tell. Overall the hotel is great for a 2 star hotel and gets the job done, if a little on the expensive side...

My stay it was an excellent choice for me and of course for anyone looking for a great value stay in Kos. Room was spotless, airy and spacious. The pool area was very relaxing and nicely decorated with sunbeds and umbrellas. Receptionist was friendly and gave us great tips on places to visit around the island. We were very happy with our stay and will be returning in the future.

Leonidas Hotel & Studios felt like a home away from home. The guys who works in this amazing hotel, were treated us like family and made sure we had everything without doubt. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and rich. I also appreciated how close it was to both the beach and the town. I would love to come back again!

Leonidas Hotel & Studios is a cozy place to stay in Kos. The studios are spacious and well-maintained and the pool area is lovely for relaxing. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Strongly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and affordable stay!

My booking was just what I needed for a relaxing vacation. The pool area was clean, beautiful, huge and the gardens were well-kept. The hotel was in a quiet area, but still close to the town and attractions. The staff was welcoming and always ready to help. I would definitely recommend it to friends!

I absolutely loved staying in this hotel, the location is convenient, with easy access to the nearest beach and nearby restaurants. The employees were incredibly kind and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The studio was clean, modern and had everything we needed. A great place to stay in Kos!

We had a wonderful time at Leonidas Hotel & Studios! The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and the city center. The studios were clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Kos.

The stuff was fine : I explained my problem with cats : 1st time in my lige I see hotel feeding cats to live in the hotel, if the owner of the hotel wants really these cats, he can have them at his home not in a hotel where some people might have allergy to cats

This hotel has 8 cats moving around all parts of the hotel so the cats are annoying coming to my balcony : for me this is against hygiene, with my respect to animals, I don't like to stay in hotel where animals are moving around like these cats are sleeping and eating every where

The pool facilities, sunbeds and tables at the front of the hotel was very nice and it gave off a very nice vibe and ambience. The receptionists were all very nice and helpful, they did their very best to accommodate us.

Didn’t like the housekeeping policy at the hotel, bed sheets were not changed, they were simply straightened out and made to look neat every day. Was told by housekeeping that towels were changed every 3 days which I didn’t feel was particularly hygienic. I don’t know if this is down to cultural differences or just the policy of the hotel.

Friendly staff, very clean throughout the whole place. Comfy beds, nice pool, breakfast was well presented.

Only negative being the location of the hotel although it was a 10 - 15 min walk into Kos town we knew it was a bit out the way when booking. There is a derelict hotel next door and lots of waste land on the actual street where the hotel is but this is no fault of the hotel don't let it put you off, we would stay there again..

The pool was clean with sunbeds always available. The accommodation is basic but spotless. We stayed four nights and had sheet and towel changes. It wouldn't be suitable really for self catering but there is a kettle, two ring hob and sink in the room with some basic pots, knives, glasses etc. Bathroom was fine but you had to climb into the bath for a shower so wouldn't be good for anyone with mobility issues. Quiet location with walk of about 20 minutes to Kos Marina.

Around the pool, groups were using speakers to stream music - no problem there but when there is more than one group with speakers and different music, can be a bit annoying. Might be useful if management provided the music and then this problem would be removed.

Nice little Hotel off the beaten track. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely and clean.
