Pros +
- The food was fantastic, and the staff was beyond nice and helpful. Everything is super clean, and the all-inclusive option is well worth the money. We even got a room upgrade, and the staff brought us a little cake and a bottle of champagne along with a nice little message to celebrate our honeymoon. All in all a fantastic stay we will surely remember forever :)
- Grandchild well entertained in kids club, pool, waterslide.
- Staff, spa and swim up room pool were amazing. The buffet was good.
Cons -
- Mediocre buffet offerings at every meal...totally inadequate capacity at a la carte restaurants on site. Terrible view of trash bins from our room. ZERO dressers to unpack.
- The check in process had charges that could me off guard... but the manager made me feel at home and the rest of the stay was great... definitely going back for a 7-10 day stay
- This is most definitely not a 5* hotel. Firstly, the hotel charges extra for use of the cabana beds (€15/day). Secondly, the level of cleanliness is sub par: in the bathrooms there is green dirty build up around the taps & toilet flush, towels that are frayed around the edges and our towel hook was hanging off. Staff are casually dressed; one where you collect towels had a stained shirt & was sat on her phone every time we exchanged towels. The food is no where near 5* quality, it was often tepid & very bland, with artificial tasting desserts. Staff in the restaurant were very friendly but spoke limited English so difficult to communicate with them at times. Fridges in rooms run loudly. The mattress topper on the bed was SO soft that I sank about 4 inches into it & had terrible back ache for my entire holiday. It’s great that there’s some form of entertainment but it wasn’t exactly what we were expecting & instead of being refined/sophisticated (in keeping with a 5* hotel) it was more like being at Butlins (holiday camp). It’s also inescapable, with staff coming around the pool during the day to involve people & evening entertainment going on (loudly) until 11pm. For some bizarre reason the children’s disco starts at 8:45pm which means for an hour all the adults (most of whom don’t have kids) have to sit & watch a very loud children’s disco on the stage. It’s the same children’s songs every night and after 7 nights we were VERY over it. Additionally, everyone seems to smoke all of the time (perhaps just how it is in Germany, seeing as approx 90% of guests were German) so the smell of cigarettes is very constant. Tv only has a few channels in English. The gym is okay but equipment is old & limited weights.

Great choice of several pools. The location is easy for hiring a bike (€5/day) and cycling into town. The grounds are immaculately kept, the gardeners do a great job. The on site shop is good however there’s a cheaper supermarket next door to the hotel. The private beach is lovely if you can get a sunbed

We loved the accommodation itself, in particular the upgrade we were given. We appreciated the well-kept hotel grounds and the overall cleanliness of the hotel. All the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly.Thank you for the great experience!
Very nice environment, all the staff very friendly and ready to help you in any way.
We were not happy with the food. The quantity and the variety of the food was ok, but the taste was very bad.
The facilities, activities, pools, entertainment and main buffet restaurant.
Staff truly excellent - very warm, friendly and service orientated. Food very good without being outstanding - but it is an all inclusive which makes that quite challenging. Loved the ability to make it more an adults-only holiday and steer clear of the entertainment / family activities with the fabulous adult bar just off main reception on a beautiful terrace, as well as the adult pool and pool bar.
Housekeeping for some odd reason slow and skipped a few days, didn't respond to requests to clean the room. Maybe a communication problem because otherwise the staff were truly wonderful. And once we remarked on it they fixed straight away.

Late check in early check out Food for dinner not good breakfast ok
A great place for a family holiday. Nice that it’s a manageable hop to Kos town. Many families with kids. Food good, and no lineups for service. The staff is excellent and very helpful.
Stunning hotel. Lovely rooms and food. Amazing family holiday, our girls are 11 and 14 and absolutely loved it...... we all did!
Beach quite rocky so you must take care but it's lovely to bob about in the waves. Amazing sunsets at the beach though for sure. Beach very pretty and cooler, a great spot for reading
It's a beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms and great staff. I want to thank Fatma our guest relation manager for helping us with everything we needed. We came early and while waiting for our room we could use all the facilities including a rich breakfast. The food was good and had everything you needed. The beach was calm and had a great cool breeze. It' has some small rocks so take a sea shoe with you. After a few meters of rocks it's all sand.. but that was our favorite spot. The Beach bard had some drinks and it was chill. There is an adult pool which is a plus if you want to stay away from children and the crowd.
The bartender at the lobby bar was rude. But she was the only one who was rude and impolite. All the other staff were really nice and helpful.
Everything
To improve the food offer especially the breakfast, always the same things. We could not find a good offer for pasta for the kids.. but this is a personal opinion of course
Very good design of the facility, easy access to rooms. Overall it was very good.
If you want to go down town it can be challenging. When we request taxi it can take up to half an hour for taxi to arrive
Beautiful resort with great services. Many pools and different areas.
The beach was not what we expected from the pictures, needing to cross the road to access. Once there, it doesn´t look like the beach club of a 5* hotel. The hours of the snack bar are quite limited. Between 17 and 18:30 there´s no restaurant open
Great breakfast and lovely selection for vegetarians
The rooms need to be more thoroughly cleaned, they aren't hoovered so it can get messy especially when visiting the beach everyday
We stayed as a family of 6 adults for five days. We were surprised by the hotel!A beautiful and well-kept hotel, very clean, excellent service, the food was great, very varied and fresh, the sous chef was very helpful, and despite kosher restrictions, we were able to find plenty of vegetarian food, I would also like to mention the kind service of the reception staff, the lovely Helen, and Petma Mashrut The customers, all the kind waiters in the dining room, Sofia, Michaela and of course Albina, our chambermaid..Highly recommend!!!
There was more activity in the evening...
The hotel exceeded all expectations with its incredible amenities and the staff provided a fantastic experience. The occasion was truly special as I proposed to my partner. From the beginning to the end, the service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond, and I couldn't have asked for more. I must mention Fatma, who was an absolute delight. She was always available to assist and there was never a request too difficult for her. She flawlessly organized the proposal, which left us breathless. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
My stay at the Hotel Pelagos in Kos was entirely positive and exceeded all my expectations. From arrival to departure everything was perfectly organized and all the staff were extremely professional and friendly. The rooms are modern, clean and very comfortable. They were thoroughly cleaned every day and the facilities left nothing to be desired. The view from the room balcony of the gardens, the pool and the pool bar were great. The culinary offerings at Hotel Pelagos are very good. The buffet offers a diverse selection of fresh and delicious food, including both international and local Greek specialties. The gardens are lovingly landscaped and very well maintained. The pool areas are spacious and invite you to relax. There are plenty of loungers and even “chilled” seating options where you can sit with your feet in the water in the bar area. To get to the beach you have to cross a street. However, it is hardly used. This side of Kos is a bit windy. You can see beautiful water waves and hear the wonderful sound of the sea. The hotel has its own beach area with free loungers, drinks and changing rooms. A special thank you goes to the guest relations manager Fatma. With her warm and courteous manner she really made my stay unforgettable. Especially on the day of check-in. Thank you!!! Her EMPATHY, kindness, professionalism and FLEXIBLE THINKING are exceptional. I can recommend the Hotel Pelagos without any reservations.
Everything was brilliant! The place was fab and neat, the room was quiet, bed was comfortable. We had two balconies, the bedroom was separate from the sitting area, two TV and 2 showers. Pool was relaxing and neat. Great for families with little kids. Their private beach was pristine. Food was delicious.
The Spa area charges 20€ per person for the use of indoor pool, sauna and steam room. Their spa is underwhelming. Not worth the price as they have 5 lovely outdoor pools. It should have been complimentary especially for a 5-star hotel. TV should have netflix installed, although they have HDMI cable.
