Hotel Route Inn Hita Ekimae

Location was steps from the train station which was a benefit to our family group, two of whom were using walkers.

Rooms were very very small with minimal room to move around and no place for luggage. Beds were hard and pillows were very small and very hard. Adequate for one night but difficult for more than one nights stay.

Location, cleanliness and the staff

The best feature of the hotel is its location. It is located right at Hita Station and across the street of Aeon, which sells everything. I found Pokemon cards from Aeon's second floor. Free breakfast has good amount of items. Staffs are very polite and helpful.

The location is great, right next to Hita JR Station, the bus terminal, and the taxi stand. Our room was spacious and clean and had a really cool view of an Attack on Titan drawing on the building on the other side of the street. The staff was super nice and friendly.

The air in the room was a bit stuffy and the room had a bit of a stuffy smell to it. It passed after we opened the window for a bit but it was evident the room could use some fresh air or better air circulation.

Very near the Hita train station and bus terminal.Room is comfortable, and the colossal titan can be seen from the room window.Nice breakfast and no queue for coin laundry.

Great location next to station, friendly staff and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you. My room had a view of the Colossal Titan on the wall of the building opposite, very cool for an Attack on Titan Fan. Also right next to Levi statue. Brilliant hotel thank you.

The washing machine does not have detergent by default, have to buy one from reception for 50 yen.

Breakfast is ok based on the room rate. And hotel is just right next to the station.

The bathroom was not clean. When I told the front desk staff that I found a tape (quite dirty) under the washing basin in the bathroom and it looked like the tape was for holding the cover underneath to avoid it falling out. Also after I told the staff that I found some water dripping from the washing basin there, they didn't offer to change the room for me. They just removed the tape from the bathroom after I had gone out. The staff didn't really apologize about the condition of my room's bathroom. I was disappointed about their attitude / service.

Excellent self choice at breakfast when I could eat as much as I liked and there was a huge range. The hot spring had free shaving foam and razors. There is free coffee in the lobby. The room had a table and couch. The hotel provided a free extra chair when I requested it. There were 8 power sockets in the room. t's a lovely, welcoming, warm and comfortable hotel.

I thought 10 was a little early to ask guests to leave. 11 or 12 would be better.

Just one minute walking from the station, free breakfast, they have everything you need, it was clean, you can leave your luggage there after checkout

I had the feeling that the receptionist that made me the check-in was afraid of me cause I was a foreign. There was a moment where he was pointing something at me and his hand was shaking, it was very awkward...... I don't think that someone scared of talking with foreigners should work in a hotel. But only this man, the other times I went to the reception to ask for things they were really nice with me and not scared to talk to me, and they actually talked with me, this man was barely putting two words together. Weirdest check-in of my life

Staff were welcoming and professional, rooms were clean and very comfortable, WiFi was stable and efficient, onsen was great, location was excellent with plenty of free parking and easy access to shops - huge drugstore nearby!

Check-out time at 10 a.m. was too early. I wish we could stay longer!

Location was perfect for us. Next to the railway station, across from the bus station and between the two main areas of the town. The staff were so helpful, friendly and patient with our lack of Japanese. Great onsen and laundry facilities. Wonderful restaurant. We loved our Japanese breakfasts but they had other choices. The rooms had everything we needed. Lovely opening the curtains in the morning to look over the town and up to the mountains.

We loved this hotel and the town of Hita. There was nothing to criticise.

Well maintained hotel with a nice public bath and good breakfast.

Price was a bit expensive but this was during a festival weekend. No complaints otherwise.

Right next door to the station and AEON Mall. Hita has a great connection to anime, therefore many aesthetics around the town are dedicated to anime. Very convenient, and met my expectations of the chain hotel.

There was a mix up with housekeeping services, requested eco service at check in then changed it to a full service with one of the housekeeping staff on the day. Housekeeping entered the room on the day, emptied bins, but did nothing else. I was a tad confused. Bathroom was the tiniest I have experienced in Japan after 9 visits.

Dirty bed sheet had other peoples hairs on it , disgusting . Never go there again.

It was a very nice hotel, I loved that complimentary breakfast was available, as well as free wifi! The hotel and room were very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly.

The bed was more firm than I am accustomed to, however I learned that most beds in Japan are this way. However, I was still able to get quality rest.

Absolutely fantastic location, I had a smoking room even though I don't smoke so I couldn't tell what was clean and what wasn't but other then that it was fantastic
