Quest on Thorndon

The room was more like a small apartment which was great!! There was a full kitchen, separate bedroom, nice bathroom, and a washer and dryer for use for free. Everything was very clean! Location was nice, centrally located - 20 min walk to center.

The elevator/lift broke the night before we left, so we had to carry our luggage downstairs.

Lovely large room, very nicely decorated. It was great having a washer and dryer within the suite, very convenient.

One small thing, a larger vanity in the bathroom would have been nicer.

Staff was helpful and answered questions about parking and also public transportation.

Rooom was greayt, as expe cted for business travel

Carparking, Arrived a 3pm , parked in the Wilsons Park, could only pay $50 for 12 hrs max, expiring at 3am, so went back to the car park and loaded another 35 dollars. That is too expensive !

Washing machine was available in the room.

There was a $25 per day charge for parking that was NOT DISCLOSED until after the non-refundable Booking.com reservation was made.

The owner, Simon! He helped me to solve issues on key immediately on a very new year day without showing anything on his face and made my stay very peaceful and relaxing. Very respectful, professional and warm. He shared many useful information as well. I very much liked everything on the room, facilities especially washing machine, cleanliness, quietness, blights, spaciousness, location! Very close to bus, train and ferry stations. I will come back soon.

Very modern and close to downtown and attractions! I loved the washer and dryer in the room. Late check in was very easy and the manager and staff are very friendly and attentive!

Really great stay at Quest on Thordon -- clean and comfortable.

Great facilities, I would probably book if staying for a work trip of more than a couple of day. All facilities are readily available and basically set up as an apartment, I was very impressed with the kitchen & bathroom supplies. I only stayed for one night so was out for dinner but if I was staying longer I would be very happy to stay here.

I like that they provide very decent shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Towels are plenty and there is a heat towel rack, a total luxury during cold, windy Wellington days. Their housekeeping standard is obviously very high, they make the bed even help washes the mugs and glasses.

The apartment was spotless. The staff was helpful. Location was close to the ferry and a major supermarket. The bed was so comfortable and there was no noise from the outside

Conveniently located around the ferry terminals, railway station, and stadium, Quest on Thornton is a nice hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with all necessities and amenities provided. If you are looking for resort type amenities, they wont be found in the immediate area. The staff were professional and courteous in spite of my very late check-in. I would highly recommend Quest on Thornton if you want to stay in the area.

Had everything we needed in the room, clean, comfortable, quite part of the city and a few minutes walk to the beehive or into town

Every thing was awesome from check-in to service, clean, comfortable, and roomy. Loved our stay and will be back.

Location was great, modern, clean apartment.

A proper door on the bedroom would have been better than the sliding door which was hard to close.

Very friendly staff on arrival, clear explanations and my room was great - upgraded to a one bedroom apartment.

Nothing but great things to say about the Quest on Thorndon. Their staff is amazing. I requested a late check out (which was definitely needed) & Chris responded by saying I could check out at 12pm midday instead of the original 10am check out which is amazing. Thank you & I will definitely be staying again!

Everything was great

Very well equipped apartment with one bedroom which is great if you've got a little one asleep, close to CBD but just outside the noisy area.

The door to the bedroom is a sliding door, so can be a bit noisy when opening it if someone is already asleep in the bedroom, but wasn't a problem at all for us.
