Great location, tidy and value for money

Cosy spot and close to everything you need. Small but plenty of room. Bathroom was very clean.

Maybe a small fan could be installed as it can get a little stuffy on really hot/muggy days.

83 by the sea is a convenient location for an overnight stay. Handy to Petony bars and restaurants. Free off street parking. And quick easy drive to catch an early ferry. Comfortable room with all the amenities.

Busy road at the front of the motel means heavy traffic out front. We parked up and walked from our unit for dinner so not really an issue.

Location in industrial area and very noisy with traffic. Trucks starting up at all hours. Suits workers but not a place to stay for leisurely break. Very tired building. Leaves scattered over front entrance and dirty windows of front door not a good look.

There wasn’t aircon in the room so it got really stuffy, there was a small fan but it didn’t help to cool the room

Location - cafes & restaurants within walking distance and walk/cycleway is over the road.Friendly owners provided secure lockup to store our ebikes.Good hot water and lovely towelsComfy bed. Plenty of free parking

Quite dated premises, although perhaps owners are working on updating.Bathroom small, shower was low and not adjustable for a tall person.Long life milk - prefer fresh milk particularly if staying couple nights or more.

Location was misleading. It might be near the sea but there is a busy and noisy road in between and no real access to the water.

we booked with you in the understanding that we would have a sea view. We were on arrival offered a back unit with a view over a timber yard. We were then offered a room upstairs with a view but we are in our late 70s and found the stairs very steep and challenging - more so with trying to take our luggage up. The room was very hot and small.

Quiet location and well equipped kitchen area. Perfect arrangement for single night stays while traveling by car.

Our room could have used air conditioning, a feature not available in this property.

Clean, modern feeling room. Great location couple minute walk to shops . No Aircon so was a little bit hot upstairs but there was an open window and having the door open let in the sea breeze

Great location opposite the boardwalk and proximity to main street and eateries.Comfortable room with all we needed for an overnight stay.Easy to drive back to Wellington after turning around further down the road.

A busy road at peak times but noise did die down later at night.If noise affects your sleep then book a back unit.

Very convenient for train into Wellington. Room was better than expected like a travel lodge back in uk.

Excellent staff are professional, friendly and genuine. Comfortable beds, well-maintained rooms (clean, tidy). Convenient traveling to and from the city, local supermarket, cafes, etc within a 15-20 minute stroll. Particularly liked being close to the beach and public transport.

I loved the beds, but they run medium-soft, so that might be an issue for some. No AC, but heaters and fans are provided (check cupboards for the latter).

The bed was too soft nearly fell out of bed a few times

There was no sky tv and no pots if you wanted to cook something

Room smelt of cigarettes and the lighting is quite dark.

Exceptionally comfortable bed ! Close to Jackson Street and bus stops etc.

Kitchenette was too small for a 4 night stay and the water pressure in the shower needs attention. Lucky I have very short hair!!

View and comfortable. No hidden fees once arrived which was a bonus
