Location, convenience & staff plus free parking all around from 8pm-8am which is a bonus!

The luxury of a private, ensuited hotel style room with the advantage of hostel facilities. Our room was very quiet and had a great view over the harbour. The bed was very comfortable (although 2 single mattresses with separate linen pushed together). The communal kitchen was very well set up and well stocked. Excellent location close to supermarket, public transport, Te Papa, restaurants and foreshore.

In very good location. Only stayed there for 1 night. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Easy to navigate. Have not used the kitchen facilities as I was sleeping over only.

It’s not the property’s fault but people are extremely loud. Our neighbour was slamming the door even after midnight. Apart from this I had a good stay.

Excellent showers, great central location and easy to get to via bus from airport

Location was handy to amenities like supermarket and cafes, and close by to the bus stop for the airport which was very handy.

Bunk units squeaked alot and found the mattresses very hard and found it hard to sleep on them. Ended up with very sore hips. Stock in vending machine had expired.

Compact but very good facilities. Managed to get our clothes washed and dried within 1 hour. Didn't use kitchen facilities but looked around and they seemed good. Not noisy. Have never stayed in a hostel before and were very impressed. We did have our own room.

Couldn't get TV to work - directions to room could be more direct, same for finding the elevator when leaving

Perfect for Waitangi Park concert. Close to Courtney Place and CBD.Well appointed room with USB plugs (and power) on the headboard, hairdryer, fridge, comfy bed.

Room was really hot! Fan available from reception (which I forgot to grab)

Staff - Silia, Yannis & Phoenix arr such helpful, considerate & patient people!! Made my stay great!

Good location with clean and very spacious communal areas.

However, the check-in process was quite frustrating. The self check-in tablet wasn’t working, and staff were on their phones for a while which caused a long queue to form

I arrived early hours of the morning, easy to get key, bed comfortable, lovely and clean, will go back to stay.

Room was tiny, hot like a sauna a very noisy, right above several air con vents

Very serviceable room and easy to check in, and out. Close to town and lovely view of the harbour.

The TV didn’t work and had an image burnt into the pixels. But that wasn’t a huge problem.

The location is great.The bus stop from the airport is close by, and there's a supermarket right in front.It was also great that the bus stop for traveling around town was nearby.

Even though my reservation was confirmed, I was charged a small fee to store my luggage before check-in.It was the first time I'd ever been charged even a small fee.I wish it would be free.

Clean modern facilities, nice kitchen equipment and beds with storage and curtains.

Feels more like a hotel, not really a hostel experience. Not much social or interesting stuff going on.

We loved our twin room. The beds were comfy, the private bathroom was great, and we even had a mini fridge, electric kettle and harbour views. Location is great as well.

I have stayed at a couple Haka Houses and they meet all my needs - very pleased
