    • The three bathrooms weren’t always enough, especially in the evening. Parking was a little tricky.

Location and stuff were fantastic! Best value for money.

The cleaning was just okay, and there weren’t enough toilets or showers for everyone.

Value for money .For 2 nights only is fine .Every single staff was great .

Very strange people .I feel insecure.

    7GarrettPosted on: 7-7-2025

Excellent location a few blocks from the CBD.

The 4th person in our room was a bit strange and stunk up the whole room. But no fault of the property.

Retreat room was comfy clean and quiet with a bay window with kettle for tea

The retreat rooms was a floor above the kitchen fridge so had to walk out to get milk

In the centre, all staff friendly and helpfull, cleaning common areas every day, lots of bathrooms and kitchens

There was no info that parking costs 28$ extra for night. In the room was messy (no cleaning), and cold

I needed to change rooms and the staff on were so accomodating - I really appreciated how quickly they could make this arrangement for me.

Great location and great hostel to stay in Wellington. Staff was amazing and helpede with everything I needed. It's my go to when visiting Wellington

    8SonjaPosted on: 4-22-2025

It’s not your typical hostel - rather you live in smaller units, separated by colour. Each unit has its own kitchen bjt u can also use the one on the ground floor. I met so many lovely people there - even some that were living there rather permanently. The pool table is a nice extra, as is the kickers although they are kind of worn. Supermarket was nearby which was lovely, beds comfortable. Safe parking was provided in the garage for a fee - not more expensive than any other parking options.

The upper kitchen was really small and some cutlery and essentials were missing. It got warm really quickly.

Staff were very helpful and accomodating going above and beyond. The backpackers was quite large and had lots of rooms but also had great communal areas to balance that out

Super good value for money, building is a little tired but was comfortable and clean. Great location and is a little social but each floor has a separate kitchen which makes a bit harder to meet people. Staff were pleasant but not super engaged/welcoming

Negative experience due to rude receptionists

French woman on the reception was extremely rude and unfriendly for no reason. It made my stay so uncomfortable.

    10AlisonPosted on: 4-15-2025

I paid a bit more for an en suite room. It was ideal as a place from which to get around the city and catch a bus to the airport. Staff were very helpful. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room that I appreciated and the bed was very comfortable.

Could be a bit noisy as walls were thin.

    8YutiPosted on: 4-8-2025

Great location, room and facilities are clean.

    7Cheng-lunPosted on: 4-6-2025

The room is clean and comfortable for one-night stay.

Shared shower room is not very clean.

    1DeborahPosted on: 4-5-2025

    Bad

I saw the facilities and shared bunks and decided I could not sleep like that. I asked for my money back just after paying once I saw the room and they said no refunds.

Nice shared space, clean bathrooms and living areas. Friendly staff. Room bit stuffy, not much airflow. No fans or aircon.
