    Pros +

    • Amazing Boutique-Hotel perfectly located in Wellington. Right at the water and close to downtown, all walkable. Super lovely staff. Definitely recommended!
    • I had to book this hotel at short notice after my connecting flight out of Wellington was cancelled. I was stressed, tired and jetlagged on arrival, but the staff were fantastic and immediately made me feel more relaxed. They also allowed me to check in early and it was a huge boost to find such a beautiful, comforting room waiting for me.The staff arranged a take-out breakfast due to my early departure the next morning. They couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, and my room massively exceeded my expectations - it's one of the most delightful rooms I've stayed in.
    • Great, big room, with vintage look. Great staff. They made sure that we got our breakfast on the day of departure, even though we left at 6.15, before they normally start

    Cons -

    • Nothing - everything was brilliant.
    • parking is paid out on the street, would recommend to bus or uber in
    • Cant think of anything

We absolutely loved this place so much that we changed plans for Auckland to book at their sister property. The location is beyond perfect in Wellington, just off the waterfront, one block from the museum and a short walk to restaurants etc. Our room was stunning! So well appointed and designed. Also, the alacarte made to order breakfast at Ohtel Pantry is a major perk. In addition, the stag here, shout out Sam and Lucy really made our stay. They were so helpful, kind and interesting to talk to. We really enjoyed our time here.

Property was excellent! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Lucy until we left. It is a small boutique property with a retro feel but spotlessly clean and the attention to detail & decor is outstanding. Breakfast was included and was one option from the set menu which was fine but on the first day more focus was on charging for extras (which you dont need!) than on the choices you do have! Chef did a great job and it was beautifully presented and tasted great. Room was bright and airy with complementary tea & coffee making facilities but the special feature was the beautiful bath and lovely toiletries - the bath was a real treat after a long day sight seeing round Wellington! All in all I would thoroughly recommend if you are visiting the area. Lucy was such a pleasant girl who was very willing to to give super recommendations for restaurants, etc. all those personal touches were appreciated.

Loved the location close to the harbour. Near Ortega fish shack which is an amazing restaurant. The bedrooms were really comfortable and loved the bath.

Very modern. Clean and very comfortable. Upgraded to a room with a bath as well as shower. Bath was luxurious. Lovely shampoos and extras, including bath salts. Large room. With sofa and comfy chairs. Massive TV. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Looks slightly off when you pull up but absolutely lovely inside.

No window to open in the room.

Fantastic hotel with a great atmosphere and truly amazing staff. They made our stay extra special with their warmth, energy, and great local tips. The food was delicious and the location is absolutely perfect. We also loved the big room with its beautiful view over the harbour, which made our stay even more special. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back!

The only small downsides were the rather soft mattress and the unusual bathroom setup(which we already knew beforehand).

The member of staff were very helpful and commited and they answered all our questions regarding sightseeing and restaurants. The concept of the breakfast without buffet but ordering a breakfast was very good and ecological.

The staff were SO kind and helpful. Although the hotel is small, it is very nice. If you get the complimentary breakfast, it's definitely worth it. You get to pick one food and drink item from the menu and the food is delicious with large portions. Our room was very good for the price. Comfortable bed and really nice bathroom.

There is no parking, you have to either pay for parking across the street or search for a free spot, but we couldn't find any free spots.

Very nice little hotel in a great location on the waterfront. Easy walk to Te Papa and other waterfront attractions and the CBD. Very friendly staff, lovely little cafe with an excellent breakfast. No reception on site after 9pm (not a problem but fyi). We had a king room with bath and it was enormous (room and bath!). Looks like the rooms with views would overlook the water which would be nice (we only stayed a night so did not choose this option).

Nothing a very honest boutique place nothing super fancy but everything very nice.

Close to the central city, supermarket and waterfront.

That the bathroom had glass doors with curtains on the outside. Zero privacy and quite dangerous at night when the lights are off.
