Great location, IGA just a few shops up the road. Clean, fresh room

The allocated parking spot ( no 1, they are numbered) was a really tight squeeze if there was a car already next to it. Twice i had to park on the street as I couldn't swing into the spot and didn't want to damage the rental car.

The location is excellent

No hair dryer in the room we were allocated (2) in all other rooms we have previously stayed at this motel hair dryers were provided no big deal

The property is centrally located, easy to access and has good parking. My room had been beautifully renovated and was very clean and comfortable. The walk in shower was perfect.

There’s nothing to dislike

Well designed and maintained space, with more comfortable furnishings than usually found in a rural motel in Australia. Plus, it’s functional, not flashy.

I loved the Reno. It was bright and welcoming. Loved that the tv was a good size so you could actually see the screen. The products in the bathroom smelled good. I personally really liked that there was a face washer.

The only thing I didn’t like were the marks on the wall behind the beds.

Room was clean and had all the little extras including cutlery, glasses, microwave and fridge.Bed was very comfy as were pillows. Huge TV. One of the best budget motels I have stayed at.

The room was well organised with supplies. The bed was comfortable. Staff contacted us about entry as they wouldn't be open when we arrived. Instructions were clear and accurate. The location was perfect - handy to places to eat.

Real soap instead of pumps. AC in room turned on before arrival. Reasonable highway sound proofing, coffee making machine.Informative receptionist, great shower compared with higher class establishments. Comfy beds. Travelling from Melb to Yeppoon via Tweed Heads, comfort & value wise this stop was the best.

The noisy adjoining selfish fellow travellers.

NicoleOver road outstanding The Railway Hotel home cooked very generous meals with real veg roast pumpkin, corn cob, potato bake, beans tender steak in Heritage Dining room. Delicious macadamia crusted lamb steak with the best fresh avocado, tomato, capsicum, cucumber, feta on medium lettuce salad . Must experience

Reception staff sent an email re what time to arrive with the warning my booking could be canceled if I was late. Being I was travelling I was unsure of time of arriving.
