Bargara Gardens Boutique Villas

Location was nice in the small community, 15-20 minutes from surrounding towns. Very conveniently located for cafes and food!! ☺️Staff were responsive to messages and made it easy for key collection and drop off. New renovations make the stay more appealing than advertised images.

Mould/mildew on window edging, ants in bathroom and armchair dirty. Previous customer’s lolly/candy left on chair.

We had a very comfortable 2 bedroom villa only a block back from the seafront. I remember these villas from my childhood and they are being done up nicely. Security screens give you a feeling of safety as they are on ground level. Beds were comfortable and well appointed. There were lots of meal options nearby; we strolled to the Bargara Hotel for a lovely meal.

Security lights outside the bedroom windows were a bit annoying. But it is very central so I assume they are necessary!

Close to the water.Air conditioning was great.

Did not realise bathroom and toilet was outside.Also TV reception not great especially channel 9No power points near double bed to have 2 cpap machines.No lamps or PowerPoints in bedroom to have any.Could hear our neighbours TVBedroom right on Main Street windows in street ground level! No security screens.Cockroach dropping in cupboards.

Easy to sort keys, park up and be inside after a long drive. Short walk to the waterfront and amenities

Pool out of use and fill of green algae, accommodation more shabby than chic, previous visitors didn't clean crockery so all the cups and bowls were dirty.

GREAT location! Enjoyed the roominess of our villa and the full kitchen facilities.

Fantastic location, centrally situated close to the town centre, golf course and the beachfront, with a lovely spacious villa.

.Although the shower head was initially broken, it was promptly fixed and replaced the next day. We also noticed ants in the bathroom, which we easily managed with ant spray, something that’s fairly unavoidable in the Queensland climate.

The car park was not beside the cabin. They are clean.

It felt dated and I never saw a staff member. Th biggest think I was disappointed with was the shower.. the water came out and over the rose and the rose fell down as you showered.

Supper close to many locations and facilities including beach, RSL, restaurants cafes, fish & chips. A nice quite location great for families.

Only downside is you need to close your blinds for privacy in your villa.

The location is very good. Considering the age of the villas they were clean enough.It is a quiet location with little noise from the adjoining villas.

Whilst the villas are currently being repainted the internal fittings are very tired.

Fantastic location, short walking distance to beach, esplanade, coffee shops, hotels.

It could have been cleaner.

The location to the beach and the pool were handy. The beds were comfy and the room was bigger than expected. Was good to have a full sized fridge for the stay.

No staff on arrival. There were 3 families waiting to get into the lockbox that was not working. We had to wait 5+ minutes for it to stop beeping and were unable to reach the owners. The kids received soap on their beds but us adults didn't, there was no scrubber for the sink, used coffee and sugar packets in the bowl and there were a pair of shoes under the kids beds. Seems the standard of cleaning was not that great.

Very well set up with everything you need for a few nights stay. So close to everything so don’t have to drive all the time and Bargara is a perfect destination.

Accessibility tricky initially but a group of us were waiting together and eventually had access to our keys.

Clean and tidy

The people staying across from us parked their car directly out the front of your room, they went in and out multiple times throughout the night and made several trips to the car, unlocking and locking it which was beep beep, beep beep, very noisy. Pluss they were told not to park there park out the back.

Not fit to inhabit. We walked out and stayed with family. Disgusting.
